How Not To Argue
Especially during political
campaigns, people often argue
on the basis of principles and
theories. But really, people are
speaking from their experiences
without telling anyone what they
are. The best way to understand
yours and others’feelings about
an issue is to tell stories about
how we came to this point in our
lives.
This is an opportunity to try telling
your story, why you feel the way
you do about an issue, so that you
and others can really understand
rather than merely argue.
