1998-2016 Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Inc.
· End-to-end design, build, and administration of Business Intelligence and data
warehouse (DW) solutions for both corporate and customer use. Solutions range from
single server up to high availability enterprise class platforms consisting of on-demand
dashboards, analytics, and static reports. Provided these solutions to many
governments, banks, and Fortune 500 corporations.
Data Warehouse responsibilities:
· Translate detailed requirements into functional specifications.
· Determine toolset required to best fulfill functional specifications.
· Provide work estimates in support of required work.
· Design and build scalable DW platforms, including server/software configuration, using
Microsoft SQL Server software suite. Platforms developed range from single server to
large enterprise class systems distributed across multiple servers.
· Design and deploy optimized DW schemas (Star and Snowflake), build, and deploy
databases and datamarts. Incorporate further optimization throughout using indexing
strategies, SQL tuning, partitioning, ETL processes, stored procedures, archiving, and
