The Challenge:
Turner Motorsport made vast improvements to their web presence. They started to
see a growth in their eCommerce sales as their new web site allowed them to ex-
pand internationally. As their overall business increased, so did the demands on
their shipping department. There was very little integration between QuickBooks
and the shipping carrier software. They were able to import the shipping address,
but much of the other key information, like the shipping method, was the sole re-
sponsibility of the person at the shipping desk. This made an opportunity for multi-
ple mistakes. Another significant issue they were experiencing was during software
upgrades. Any time QuickBooks or the shipping carrier made an update to their
software, there was a huge chance that Turner would need to readjust their pro-
cesses. This caused further delays in the production of their fulfillment.
The Solution:
Turner Motorsport turned to OzLINK for their ACCTivate integration solution. After
implementation of the OzLINK Shipping solution, their shipment data is now auto-
matically populated into the corresponding data fields. That includes many of the
advanced data requirements like the International Customs Declaration forms. All
the shipment information, such as package tracking numbers, are written back real
time into ACCTivate . Dan Curtis, IT Manager said, "There is much less room for
human error, and the process is far speedier than we had previously."
Another important benefit of implementing OzLINK Shipping has been the tools’
ability to handle new software versions of both ACCTivate and proprietary shipping
meter software. Turner Motorsport can now seamlessly upgrade versions of
QuickBooks Enterprise several times without delays to their fulfillment process.
