This document provides an overview of creative writing and encourages the reader to engage in writing practice. It defines creative writing as writing that expresses ideas and thoughts in an imaginative way, breaking from more technical styles. The document discusses reasons to write such as achieving immortality, bettering oneself and others, self-expression, and gaining self-awareness. It emphasizes that writers write daily, read widely to learn different styles, and most importantly, practice writing regularly. The overall message is that writing should be approached as an art form to transfer one's ideas and thoughts to paper for others to understand.
6. Immortality
The ability to live forever; to have legendary status
Is there anything you have in your mind or in your life’s story that you want to
always remember or to pass along to others?
This isn’t a fantastic idea; isn’t this the same mindset behind keepsakes?
Do you have keepsakes, or collections?
Do you know anyone who does?
Do you think keeping words may be important to some people?
How would someone do that?
7. BettermentThe act or process of improving something
Do you believe your ideas can positively impact others around you?
Why or why not?
Can you think of a thought or idea of yours are worth sharing, with the end goal of
helping others?
Is helping others a motivator for you?
9. Self AwarenessTo understand oneself on a deeper level of body or mind; not influenced by others
Have you ever wondered something; and you are stuck for an answer until you
muse out loud?
Magic transcends when a spoken word or concept is heard. Quite often, a deeper
understanding or insight is then understood.
It is the same with writing.
By writing our thought down we may then gain a deeper understanding of our
thoughts and opinions.

What is creative writing
C.W. is a style of writing that uses senses and emotions to create strong visuals for the reader to use to understand the intention of the writer
In my cookbooks I write note of when i make dishes, and for who. One day one of my children will read those notes. Will that insight help make me immortal?
