TRUSTLESS is a startup spin-off of the Trustless Computing Inititative, lead by Rufo Guerreschi, and by key world-class advisors, members and partners of the Trustless Computing Consortium, to pursue via equity funding in alternative to EU R&D public funding.
TRUSTLESS graduated on July 20th 2016 from the Berlin-based 2016 Hardware.co Acceleration program, sponsored by Siemens, Bosch and Deutsche Bahn.
TRUSTLESS is the fruit of 15-years of single-minded drive by Rufo Guerreschi to built technology and organizational paradgims to substantially realize the freedom and democracy potential of ICTs, by radically increasing the protection of online communcation civil rights, while increasing public safety and “constitutional” – no more no less – cyber-investigation capabilities.
TRUSTLESS unique IT security paradigms, and proposed Trustless Computing Certification Body, have been widely discussed and shared with the top world experts and EU officials, through our Free and Safe in Cyberspace event series in Brussels, New York, Brazil; including:Bruce Schneier, Bart Preneel, European Defence Agency Head of Information Superiority, Deputy EDPS, Vice-Chair of EU Parl LIBE Committee, Deputy Head of DG Connect Security and Trust, and many relevant others.

Competition
• Cybersecurity market growth 2015-2020 in
billion $ will be $75bn to $170bn.
• Forrester in 2014 predicted up to 180bn$ in
opportunities for non-US based companies,
offering better communication privacy after
Snowden revelations. But no-one in the EU
went all the way, and top customers rightly
chose US as their least worst enemy.
• Of US citizens “61% say they feel they “would
like to do more” about privacy.
• KPMG predicts “In 2016 we predict that
organised crime groups will become
increasingly selective in targeting high-net-
worth individuals [13 million globally],
corporate treasuries and commercial bank
accounts”
9. Timeline & Business Model: Build up (M1-15)
• (M1-9) Build up the TrustLess Computing Base (TLCB), via a 1.5M€+ sub-contracting to the
Consortium.
• (M3-6) Incorporate the Trustless Computing Consortium, and establish the Trustless
Computing Certification Body and consolidate expert consensus on unique security
paradigms/value with event series.
• (M6-12) Build up, via TRUSTLESS, the Pod and Box on top of TLCB.
• (M3-12) Security and UX review and audit by top IT security experts and ethical hackers,
paid and volunteer.
• (M3-15) Enlarge the Consortium to include 3-4 large financial institutions and/or global
mobile telcos, as either or both:
• (A) pre-procurement customers for internal top exec & staff communications; and
• (B) sales partners (banks also: one-time-password alternative to token, and ultra-confidential e-
banking).
10. Timeline & Business Model: Go-to-Market (M10-21)
• (M 10-15) Sales Channel set up. CivicStores are setup in the city centers of Berlin, Paris,
Brussels that provide for in-person authentication & initial training, and host servers
(CivicRoom) and assembly (CivicLab). Channels Options:
• Sales Partners: CivicStores may be center-city branches of sales partners, with dual-
branding; OR own “brick and mortar” branded stores.
• Marketing Partners: Via through co-marketing of high-net-worth individuals’ social clubs
(such as Coockoo’s Next in SF). Booked only but picked up in person. Corporate discounts of

Why “cast screen” feature on Apple TV and ChromeCast
is highly impractical and nearly never used?
1. You cannot use your phone while viewing.
2. Phone quickly heats up and battery gets drained
3. HD video is often choppy as it uses Wifi, and latency
is high for gaming.
17. Month 16 -21 Build up of entertainment offering
- Build MinimumViable Product of the entertainment-feature of Pod and Box, and CivicRemote
- Incorporate the OpenTV Next Consortium. Function: governs the UX and priority of default apps in

TV, Chromecast, etc., but want to increase they negotiating power towards them; or ARE NOT on
them, such as nearly all global/EU/Italian Android mobile video apps (!) and android game, and most
local and national TV content producers; server-side-only AI digital assistants/ chatbots seeking unique
privacy–based competitve edge (e.g.Viv.ai)
-- Sales partners (mobile or fixed telcos and/or national and local broadcasters),
Month 21-27 Wide-market roll-out security+entertainment
Around 200-700K Pod+Box unit pairs are sold through monthly lease plans, with 100€ sign-up fee,

20. Month 36- Trustless for high-volume critical AI:
Problem
Makers of moveable high-volume civilian autonomous systems (e.g. robots,
drones, cars, digital assistants) are seeking to lower by orders of magnitude the
risk of concurrent remote hacking of thousands of product units during operation,
to achieve and sustain wide-market uptake and legal authorization for use in
dense human environments.
Solution
Once established as the most trustworthy general-purpose computing base
for confidentiality and integrity, the TRUSTLESS computing base, lifecycle and
standards will be extended to include very-high availability. We’ll offer the
OEM and value-added services for their deployment in their most critical
deterministic sub-systems (e.g. firmware upgrade, connection, security
monitoring).
