- The Ideal: When God set up the physical world to multiply His children he intended that we all started as small packages of God's essence to be implanted in a perfectly clean physical body and that we would grow inheriting the positive physical and spiritual genes from our parents and ancestors to come into Direct Dominion with God while still on earth. We are all destined, eventually, to be totally (re)-united with God as individualised perfected children of God, whether this takes 80 years or thousands of years. As perfected Godly persons we would pass on divine physical and spiritual genes to our children; this would then be repeated from generation to generation forever. Reality: This did not happen because of the Fall. Our immediate physical parents gave us a polluted physical body into which the small packages of God's essence, which is us, has to grow up in. We inherited vast numbers of impure physical and spiritual genes from them. This is fate of Fallen Man. God's solution is to bring the True Parents who can empower us to purify both our physical body and our spirit. Because Jesus could not be the TP, St. Paul talked about "still waiting for redemption of our body" and the creation “still waiting for the true sons of God" The Blessing: What are these impure physical and spiritual genes? It particularly refers in the DP to Inherited and Collective Sin. These are real influences which we have to cleanse ourselves of, particularly during our life on earth. When we are of child-bearing age, the more we cleanse ourselves of these the purer and better our children will be. We understand that the Blessing empowers us to start a whole new lineage and allows us, like never before, to purify both our spirit and our body. We can pass on less pollution to our children, and they in turn even less to their children, until finally children are born free of the results of the Fall, like the children of unfallen parents. That last generation will then become unfallen pure parents in due course. We are told that this could take anywhere from ten to one hundred generations dependent on how dedicated each generation is to embodying the Word. How do these Inherited and Collective Sins manifest themselves? In many different ways: The 7 mortal sins Selfishness Mind:Body disunity Complexes and hangups. We all have or have had them. Let us analyse our thinking and discover what is really to be done according to TP’s words. (Like being individual truth bodies. Like being self-sufficient individuals and families. Like being ambitious Tribal Messiahs). Ignorance of God's Will and one’s own responsibility A lack of desire to change - like the strong lack of motivation and ambition shown by people in the Middle Spirit who are in a purely mid-way position ++++ Our Opportunity and 5% Responsibility: By identifying with our own (5%) responsibility, working on myself to clear away the fuzz and the wrong thinking, the constraints of Inherited, Collective Personal Sin, through denying ourselves and living for the sake of others (learning to love unconditionally and to practice that love in action), we can become an ever better family member, spouse, parent. We can ultimately become wise, loving, universal, unchanging, unconditional - uncomplicated - people without extreme concepts and hang ups. We can become like God.
- My experience At 26 I had: A prejudice, to be got rid of, about Germans - resolved A prejudice, to be got rid of, about Arabs - resolved Aged 16 -26: problems, to be got rid of, with young women - resolved Was battling with old Yorkshire male traditions - resolved Other more personal wrongs ways of thinking - resolved But I was: gifted with a good conscience from my ancestors and a rational mind which both told me clearly when I was going wrong and also allowed me to analyse "the problem" and understand possible solutions Many experiences where I have been asked to put aside my own wishes in favour of what was needed at the time in the dispensation, knowing dimly at first that this was actually atoning the sins of myself and my ancestors Agreeing to join the Movement at all in 1974 (aged 26) Agreeing to the whole Blessing system and my putting trust in TP regarding my spouse (I have no complaints!) Agreeing to leave the UK for a European mission in Germany Agreeing to lead the Hanover teams in 1981 - a 10 day suffering course 1999 - 2005 Learning to love the German people 2003: Learning to love the Arab people Some tough courses in the UK since 1996 having to deal with some (at least what I found) difficult people Surely all good restoration, atoning for and clearing away sin, even that which I am not aware of
- Franchezzo's experience (published in 1893) Words from a resurrected spirit person communicating 27 years before Father Moon was born. He was powerfully encouraged by the unconditional love a woman on earth allowing him to grow rapidly in the SW from a very low level. He explains much in his discourse about returning resurrection work and doing workshops in the SW, including seeing pictures and videos of his past life to clarify what he needed to indemnify, things which are familiar to us today. Speaking of higher spirits who are confronting low spirits on the earth plane who are spiritually an important person on earth These (higher spirits) were not only mortal men but they were many of them men of evil lives, who by reason thereof descended to those Kingdoms of Hell which you have seen, but who because of their great repentance and the many and great works of atonement which they have done, and the perfect conquest over their own lower natures which they have gained, are now the leaders in the armies of light Speaking of the course less advanced people have to go through to be resurrected – perhaps an indication of the experience of liberated spirits today on a 100 day workshop Do you know what it is to suffer all the pangs of an awakened conscience? Have you seen that path of bitter tears, of weary effort, which the soul must climb if it would return to God? Do you realize what it means to undo, step by step, through years of darkness and suffering and bitter anguish of soul, the sinful acts and words and thoughts of an earthly lifetime?—for even to the uttermost farthing must the debt be paid; each must drink to the last dregs the cup that he has filled. Far easier were it for man to repent now while still on earth than to wait till he goes to that land where he can deal with the things of earth no more, save through the organisms of others (i.e. returning resurrection) Like Rev. 22:14: Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city and Rev: 7:14: These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb
- What can I do I can understand that everything I do affects many people - positively and also negatively; directly: myself, my spouse, my ancestors and my descendants indirectly: all of humanity Wherever I am spiritually at the moment I can learn to love myself and others for what we can become and never beat myself up about things (something which is not from God). I can learn to be patient with myself but also strict, pushing myself to purify myself more, seeking to live an unselfish Godly life more, getting help from others as necessary (on earth and from the SW), in order take hold of myself to "get there" sooner rather than later, wherever possible while we are on earth. We have to determine to do whatever it takes! I can think and meditate deeply about what it means to become a True Teacher, True Parent and True Owner of the physical and spiritual worlds, what it means to become a Divine Son or Daughter and what it means to have True Love, True Life and True Lineage. We can contemplate and discuss until we all really get it! Then we set about doing it in full understanding! Doing HDH helps a lot here. We can also doing nothing – but then we are missing major opportunities and are only delaying the inevitable. Reaching Direct Dominion with God can taken 80 years or thousands of years but we are destined to do it eventually. Let us choose the smart way over the hard way. The roles mentioned are achievable otherwise TP would not talk about them. God needs this asap.
- Summary We have the opportunity in our lifetime to better our lineage in the past, present and future and to personally grow in stages to become a Divine Son or Daughter of God - our ultimate purpose of creation. We are never alone. We are here to help each other, to live for the sake of each other, whether as a spouse, parent or elder or younger brother or sister, to love each other into Heaven! Through the Blessing (on earth or in the Spirit World) we not only change our blood lineage but are empowered to purify ourselves and (when younger and still on earth) to give birth to the best possible children for the sake of the lives they can lead and for their (and our) future descendants. We are the first generations to be able to do this! I offer you all of the encouragement in the world for a triumphant 2015 on all kinds of levels
