 Business etiquette refers to accepted rules for behavior and communication in a professional
environment. It affects relationships between coworkers, managers and clients, which can impact the
health of an organization and its culture.
 Professionalism does not mean wearing a suit or carrying a briefcase; rather, it means conducting
oneself with responsibility, integrity, accountability, and excellence . It means communicating
effectively and appropriately and always finding a way to be productive.
 Business etiquettes and professionalism make a person’s reputation professional. As we know when
we are doing our jobs, meeting and communicating with the partners, customers and other
stakeholders of organization we are performing the role of ambassador. Our actions, etiquettes not
just represent ourselves but also our organization.
What are business etiquettes & professionalism?
 Are common courtesies and good manners
a thing of the past? It’s quite possible,
according to a recent survey that explored
the topic of employee etiquette and the
frustration of leaders who are struggling
to manage this common workplace issue.

and improves communication, which helps an
