CMWS Whole Wealth and Wellness Center, Actualizing The Dream. …Welcome to CMWS 2nd annual meeting… the first after receiving approval for 501c3 status. Today, we offer a A 4 facet, 4 step process to build a whole wealth and wellness center where area women who do not have the resources to fully participate, thrive and contribute to the greater community.
Through a process of netweavings– networking the women’s way; visionings and success plan team collaborations, we have learned there is a need for a woman focused whole wealth and wellness center in Central Minnesota.
A place where the community can “lean in” with women collaborating to empower the diversity of women in our communities with challenges to self-sufficiency can receive services, training and mentorship to succeed intheir business ventures, community projects and non-profit goals.
A place where these women could then market the products and services they have created.
A place for women to gather, to train, to provide multi-cultural, multi-media, multi-lingual products and services for the greater communities and beyond.
We believe the spaces in Centre Square, Downtown St. Cloud, would serve the immediate and ever evolving needs of women to monetize their gifts and talents while contributing to their individual communities as well as the regional center that is the greater St. Cloud Area and beyond.
We invite you to Collaborate With Women Shine… Because each of us is part of the solution…CMWS is tge conduit for a community of men women and systems to create inclusive flexible spaces for prodcucts and services whichserve the ever evolving needs of area women and the greater communities we serve.
CMWS home office offers a welcoming resource center and data base to assist you in developing your success plan or accessing the many products and services of our clients and partner businesses. With 2,392 sq. ft. of space and 2 large display windows on St. Germain Street, it will be a showcase of the unique wares of the artists and artisans of CMWS marketing groups.
Inside the mall, large sliding doors slide into a wall of glass, now covered with paper, offering a wide open view of a world class market place and muti-cultural center.
This view of the old hallmarkcould house CMWS office with a kitchenette and interview area. It has been proposed that this space be secured and built out first, adding a bathroom with a changing table and an international market in front of the 2 large windows facing St. Germain Street.Imagine the possibilities as CMWS sets up a welcome center, data base and multi media communications station in this corner of the room. Finally, this space that once held a hallmark store could be transformed as CMWS Communications and Marketing Showroom-- a place where multi-cultural, multi-lingual and multi-media products and services are made available to the greater community and beyond.
Two large display windows now blacked out would welcome local and global visitors to come in and explore products, services and possibilities. A place whereclients can showcase their products and services as well as wares offered by local and global artists, artisans and service providers partnering with CMWS to create sustainable wealth and wellness.
The Old Ciatis is a 6,724 sq. ft. space that could house a community kitchen along with event/training spaces. The old dining and lounge space could have floating walls and be designed to easily transform to what ever kinds of space a group needs, be it a gala event, meeting space, youth activities/events, a café, world market and or training/seminar spaces. It has been suggested the old lounge area could be transformed into a tutering space for teens after school hours and/or teen center during evening/weekned hours.
There are no photos of the kitchen as it is gutted, but the space has ample venting, electrical, plumbing, storage and preparation space to house a number of projects and cottage businesses. This multi-cultural community kitchen will be the core– the heart of the organization’s offerings. The women and groups that utilize this space will be the blood line creating a flow of products, services and funds to support the ongoing and evolving projects of CMWS. With a catering space and units for cottage industries, this kitchen could produce product for a café, deli, bistro and or bakery as well as small and large events. This slide is just a sample of what we could envision for our space at Centre Square. The Freezer, Cooler and Dry Storeage areas would have cages for each organization that would be kept locked so that supplies don’t accidently get used that belong to other organizations. The remainder of the Kitchen would be laid out so that it would accomocate the various prep areas and baking and packaging areas with a dishwasher somewhere in the center. The asking price for this space is $7.00 per square ft. Steve Paasch of GLT Architects has offered to draw up the plans for this and the other spaces at a maximum cost of $4,000.00, pending board approval. The cost to renovate this space would be in the neighborhood of $200,000. This and other spaces could be completed in stages beginning with the hallmark space.
Across from the CMWS Headquarters is the old Ciati’s Lounge. This On the right, Entering old Ciati’s from Centre Square and Herbergers common area. In present layout the seating capacity is 250 plus. Some walls may be removed and floating walls will be added to increase possibilities.
Plenty of space in the old restaurant to seat 250 plus for events or separate into smaller spaces for multi-purpose rental.
Imagine a Women’s Room in this 2704 sq. ft. space. This is a safe space where women can discreetly access whole health and wellness products, services and classes; fill out confusing forms to access those services and more…
Once Herbergers Intimate Apparel, this space located behind the community kitchen, with direct access from the side street expands both flexibility of use and anonomous access when needed.space could be built out to accommodate areas for exams, screenings and even services such as massage. open spaces fcould accommodate yoga/exercise classes, classroom and meeting space. An area for informal meeting consulting areas for individuals or small groups could be accommodated as well..
In the words of Lynn Twist, “We have enough and we are enough… entrepreneurial energy grounded in principles of sufficiency leads to success and sustainable growth.” as Communities of men, women and systems, come together under the glowing light of Women Shine.
A success plan team will develop these 4 areas of the center. What area of expertise do you bring to the table?
Over the last 2 years, CMWS has been asking what we need and what we hope for as individuals, families and organizations
