What is MOOC?
Is a model for delivering learning content online to any person who wants
to take a course with no limit on attendance. Or you can say is an online
course aimed at unlimited participation and open access via the web.
Who can use MOOC?
 The university students are allowed to use MOOC when they are doing their
works.
 The lectures they mostly use MOOC in such a way that they deliver the
advance information to students.
 In companies they also use it to communicate or to do work efficiently.
 In school you also can use it so that learners will be more creative and smart,
just because they will know more.

Benefits of MOOC.
 To force face to face classes to be more attractive, more meaningful it has
great potential to expand knowledge and perspectives.
 Increase access in terms of everything you want to get access in.
 It is now creating environment where faculty may become more interested
and engaged with how they use technology.
 It help with extra curricular activities.
Advantages of MOOC.
 It is easy to get access.
 Now you can find it in lectures.
 Force face to face classes to be more attractive and meaningful.
 Certain cultural values and perspectives get broadcast as well.
 I like the idea of MOOC that help with extra curricular activities, such as a
MOOC available to high school learners and faculty in charge of TSA or a team
that wants to get into FIRST Robotics but they don't have any current faculty
that know about these topics it should open these types of activities to
everyone.
Disadvantages of MOOC.
 Completion rates.
 Face to face.
 There is at least one instructor in a course who never taught online before.
CONTINOUES OF DISADVANTAGES
 Participants will be paying for an experience in the course.
 Many universities offering education via a MOOCs offering are hoping that
they can reach thousands of students in greater numbers.
 The pricing may be lower, but it still needs to be held at a premium so as to
match the level of learning and information exchange and experience. This is
the primary difference potentially with a MOOC or any other free online
course and that of an executive education offering for example.
The Purpose of creating MOOC.
 the purpose of introducing MOOCs is to increase access to higher education,
reduce costs reinvigorate teaching and learning.
 Everyone must get the access.
 Making easy of teaching and learning
 Make sure that if you are teach maybe you want to introduce something to
your students its very to everyone to get the work.
 Its decreases the inequality between the teacher and learners. Because as I
state from the above that everyone get work.
How is quality defined in MOOC?
 1. Whose requirements are most important to be met? If MOOCs are for the
learners, then the conformance to requirements would likely be decided by
the learners. This is quite challenging, in case of institutions, where quality
is defined in terms of the institutional requirements. From a historical
perspective, there are always differing requirements from institutions,
employers, educators and learners, and so what is best in quality is seldom
agreed upon, especially under an open education and learning environment.
 2. How is quality determined in MOOCs? What may be viewed as quality may
need to be re-examined in light of changing circumstances, as those
requirements, purpose if quality is defined also as fitness of purpose are
changing rapidly in a complex educational landscape.
MOOC WINNERS.
 Lifelong learners
 Mooc providers, for instance Coursera
 Students who need extra tutoring for instance high school algebra
 Learners around the world who do not have other options for learning
 University learners who need flexibility and have motivation
 Back to affordability those that can't access education due to financial
issues.
MOOC winners continuous.
 I think mooc would be great for people who are scared to try college courses,
but want to "get their feet wet." Especially students with hidden disabilities.
 I think students who may need some extra help, more info for a current
"traditional" class have some great opportunities from MOOC resources
 faculty will benefit by reconsidering their instructional methods and
approaches
 anyone who can develop innovative applications and solutions based upon
what the MOOC platform enables someone who is forward thinking and
envisions a new use of what the technology makes possible.
MOOC losers.
 The traditional face to face classroom
 The instructor who really enjoys face to face teaching
 Those who aren't open to checking out the opportunities or thinking this will
just go away
 Student affairs
 Learners who don't have the basics to access MOOCs
 Students who are learning from an instructor who doesn't want to teach
online and isn't prepared for it.
My opinion about MOOC.
 MOOC its more helpful so I can say teachers who are not yet tried it they can
try it to make learners lives better.
 Those teachers who do not know about online e-learning also they will need
to get know about it. Because its more worthy.
