FIDA Football & AAA Programs Manager – AFL Victoria (November 2015 – Current)
Through my previous role as the FIDA General Manager (below) I oversaw the
transition of FIDA from a stand alone football league to sit under the AFL Victoria
development structure, as such my role has been expanded to include Access All
Abilities programs with responsibilities including;
Driving the strategic direction of the AFL Victoria FIDA Football League
Overseeing and co-ordinating all competition management activities
including match scheduling, rules & regulations, regular club meetings,
education sessions for players and club officials, umpiring, insurance &
match day arrangements
Support the ongoing development of clubs including club governance and
capacity building
Co-ordinate the operations and logistics of the AFL Victoria FIDA State Team
and the participation of this team in the national AFL program with other
states and territories
Liaise closely with AFL Victoria Regional Staff to support Auskick centres
taking on a AAA component, run clinics in special schools and develop
pathways for children with disabilities to enjoy a lifelong involvement in
football
Lead the development of disability awareness training and education for all
AFL Victoria staff
Develop and maintain productive relationships with all clubs and community
football leagues as well as local councils, state government, regional sports
assemblies and disability providers.
Manage the AFL Victoria FIDA Football League budget as well as the AAA
implementation budget and oversee the development of the annual budget
process including related revenue/expenditure forecasting
General Manager – Football Integration Development Association (July 2014 –
October 2015)
As the General Manager of the Football Integration Development Association I had
the overall responsibility for the day to day management of the league across a
number of different portfolios, including;
Management
Managed 16 Direct reports (paid and voluntary)
Provided direction for 32 indirect reports on Inclusion and Football
opportunities for people with disabilities
Coordinated FIDA internship program that takes on three third year

(December 2012 – July 2014)
As the Football Administration manager for the Football Integration Development
Association I was responsible for the day to day operations management of the
competition. Responsibilities included;
Liaising with member clubs, players, parents and supporters as required
Overseeing the player registration process including implementation of
online registrations
Updating competition stats including match results, best players and goal
kickers
Overseeing tribunal proceedings
Ensuring all databases are up to date including; members, players, coaches,
sponsors and schools
Acting AFL Victoria Community Development Manager – Eastern Region (2011-
2012)
Manage 10 national portfolios delivered regionally
Manage 12 direct reports (paid and voluntary)
Manage recognition programs for volunteer coaches and administrators.
Manage ‘priority market’ growth in female and multicultural demographics.
Facilitate and deliver community engagement courses culturally and
linguistically diverse communities including migrants, refugees and
