A textile industry customer uses a Wecon 37 HMI and 37 PLC along with Yaskawa variable frequency drives to control a process. The main status screen provides access to configurations and graphics. It includes a data input area for up to 26 configurable multispeed conditions. The system graphically interprets states based on fulfillment of conditions and interacts with conditioning parameters protected by password. A subsystem handles variable variables to facilitate the application implementation in a hidden and password protected manner. The developed application is capable of evaluating mechanical position from an encoder, performing ramps based on user-defined conditions, and sending data to the inverters for acceleration and deceleration control.
