and human rights and WASH programs (by managing contracting processes, start-
up, implementation, and close-out) across four countries.
 Identified, built and managed collaborative partnerships with communities, local
authorities and other stakeholders in project locations across four countries.
 Ensured compliance through audit and review of technical and financial reports
submitted by respective partners.
 Provided opportunity for economic resilience, skills development and empowerment
to over 500 youth in northern Uganda and South Sudan.
 Established and maintained effective program reporting, accountability monitoring
and evaluation systems (to track, analyze and report on results, milestones and
outcomes) for both internal and external stakeholders' use.
 Ensured successful integration of community approaches, rights based programming,
gender sensitivity and capacity building into all projects as appropriate.
 Managed the project cycle through managing planning processes, guiding partners’
implementation plans, monitoring and supporting learning and evaluation processes

Icelandic International Development Agency – ICEIDA - Uganda
 Provided technical support to 3 Government agencies and ministries (the Ministry of
Gender Labor and Social Development, the Department of Fisheries Resources and
the lake shore districts around lakes Victoria, Kyoga and Albert) for the
implementation of the Uganda Functional Adult Literacy Program and improvement
of the performance of the fish value chain.
 Liaised between ICEIDA and Mukono and Kalangala Districts, Ministry of Gender
Labor and Social Development and the Department of Fisheries Resources
 Successfully managed a budget of over $1,058,000.00 which was released to the
Mukono District project account to implement project activities
 Developed successful strategies that kick– started economic development
opportunities for women (example: processing the silver fish in Lake Victoria region).
 Managed the process of developing annual and quarterly narrative plans and
budgets.
 Ensured compliance through review of technical and financial reports submitted by
respective Districts.
 Provided executive support for managing the project life cycle of the adult literacy
projects in the Districts of Mukono and Kalangala.
 Represented ICEIDA at various fora such as; the social development sector partners
meetings and Education for All group meetings as well as providing support to CSO’s
partnership.

 Facilitated community planning initiatives by identifying and creating development
opportunities.
 Conducted research and provided advisory about community development
opportunities.
 Provided technical advice and supported the implementation of protection best
practices with regards to OVCs.
 Drafted action plans and led meetings with department executives to review project
status and proposed changes.
 Executed proof of concept implementations to validate product feasibility.
 Managed the project cycle thereby developing project outputs and outcomes, wrote
periodical reports and ensured project payments were on schedule.

 Provided oversight for the preparation of training logistics and developed training
programs.

 Conducted volunteer recruitment through conducting recruitment talks in schools,
scoring volunteer applications, interviewing volunteers and decision making on who

 Supported financial management team by ensuring all financial requests were in line
with approved budgets and prepared accountabilities.

(example: supported dialogues to ensure women accessed land for agriculture production in Otuke District in Uganda and women involvement in growing teff and dairy farming in Ethiopia).  Provided advisory services to implementing partners to develop innovative project ideas that attract the youth to create employment opportunities (examples: developing fecal sludge treatment facilities to develop compost and energy for cooking in Kitgum and Kole Districts respectively).  Managed over €2,900,000.00 which was released to the various partners across East and Horn of Africa to implement projects according to contractual obligations.  Assigned to oversee the program cycle for access to markets, protection, governance and human rights and WASH programs (by managing contracting processes, start- up, implementation, and close-out) across four countries.  Identified, built and managed collaborative partnerships with communities, local authorities and other stakeholders in project locations across four countries.  Ensured compliance through audit and review of technical and financial reports submitted by respective partners.  Provided opportunity for economic resilience, skills development and empowerment to over 500 youth in northern Uganda and South Sudan.  Established and maintained effective program reporting, accountability monitoring and evaluation systems (to track, analyze and report on results, milestones and outcomes) for both internal and external stakeholders' use.  Ensured successful integration of community approaches, rights based programming, gender sensitivity and capacity building into all projects as appropriate.  Managed the project cycle through managing planning processes, guiding partners’ implementation plans, monitoring and supporting learning and evaluation processes Project Officer – Social Sector March 2005 to July 2011 Icelandic International Development Agency – ICEIDA - Uganda  Provided technical support to 3 Government agencies and ministries (the Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development, the Department of Fisheries Resources and the lake shore districts around lakes Victoria, Kyoga and Albert) for the implementation of the Uganda Functional Adult Literacy Program and improvement of the performance of the fish value chain.  Liaised between ICEIDA and Mukono and Kalangala Districts, Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development and the Department of Fisheries Resources  Successfully managed a budget of over $1,058,000.00 which was released to the Mukono District project account to implement project activities  Developed successful strategies that kick– started economic development opportunities for women (example: processing the silver fish in Lake Victoria region).  Managed the process of developing annual and quarterly narrative plans and budgets.  Ensured compliance through review of technical and financial reports submitted by respective Districts.  Provided executive support for managing the project life cycle of the adult literacy projects in the Districts of Mukono and Kalangala.  Represented ICEIDA at various fora such as; the social development sector partners meetings and Education for All group meetings as well as providing support to CSO’s partnership.

Community Development Coordinator (CDC) – October 2003 to February 2004 Plan International – Uganda;  Facilitated community planning initiatives by identifying and creating development opportunities.  Conducted research and provided advisory about community development opportunities.  Provided technical advice and supported the implementation of protection best practices with regards to OVCs.  Drafted action plans and led meetings with department executives to review project status and proposed changes.  Executed proof of concept implementations to validate product feasibility.  Managed the project cycle thereby developing project outputs and outcomes, wrote periodical reports and ensured project payments were on schedule.
