• To be a national professional association for Records, Information and
Archives practitioners.
• To represent the interests of Records, Information and Archives
professionals in Botswana.
• To advocate for and/ develop and recognise professional standards of
competence in the country.
• To promote exchange and sharing of expertise and experience among
members.
• To foster ethical conduct and competence among membership.
• To provide platforms for knowledge generation and sharing through
publications, seminars and conferences.
