2. Gratitude
“Nothing that is done for you is a matter of
course. Everything originates in a will for the
good, which is directed at you. Train yourself
never to put off the word or action for the
expression of gratitude.”
- Albert Schweitzer
3. Larry W. Dennis Says:
I love this quote by Albert Schweitzer. I hope
that as you read it, you don’t miss the point that
everything comes into your life, your world,
today, this week, this month, this decade – has
come because someone willed it, they made it
happen.
4. Larry W. Dennis Says:
Some individual, out of their own volition, out of
their own free will extended themselves, put
forth the effort to make the good that comes into
your life possible.
5. Larry W. Dennis Says:
For this reason in our prayers of gratitude,
wouldn’t it be appropriate for us to be grateful
for, thankful for, as an example, everyone who
touched the food we eat? The person who
planted the seeds, the person who drove the
tractor, that harvested the lettuce, washed,
packaged, transported it, put it on the shelves of
the grocery store, maybe even carried it to your
car.
