I have independently worked with Professor
Marc Koyark continuously for three years.
Within the three years, I had accumulated
over 2,000 hours. I am very confident with
my ability of learning unfamiliar protocols
and equipments, since I had already learnt
many procedures below classroom and lab
work. Even though all lab work is to be
done independently, my team has weekly
figure journal club, proposal and project
presentation at end of each season. My
senior synthesis is about how helical beta
peptide will compete with natural occurring
Guanine nucleotide exchange factor to
inhibit AKT pathway in order to further
inhibit cell migration and division in cancer
metastasis.
