RIDI Leuchten GmbH ist ein mittelständisches Unternehmen
und hat sich in mehr als 60 Jahren auf dem Markt technischer
Leuchten etabliert.
Heute ist man mit mehreren Produktionsstandorten in
Deutschland und Polen, Tochterfirmen im europäischen Aus-
land und zahlreichen Werksvertretungen deutschland- und
europaweit bestens aufgestellt. Ein vielseitiges Produktspek-
trum von Leuchtenmodellen, die stetige Entwicklung neuer
Leuchten und die kundenorientierte Konzeption von Sonder-
modellen zeichnen RIDI als Qualitätshersteller aus. RIDI
verwirklicht Lichtplanungen von einfachen Lichtlösungen bis
hin zu komplexen Lichtsteuerungsanlagen.
Der Fertigungsstandort Jungingen umfasst eine Produktions-
fläche von ca. 35.000 m2 und ist gleichzeitig Sitz der
Firmenzentrale. Fertigungsschwerpunkte am Standort
Jungingen sind Rasterleuchten, Lichtsysteme, Architektur-
beleuchtung und Sonderleuchten. Daneben werden noch
viele Leuchtenkomponenten für die Werke in Zeuthen und
Rellingen gefertigt.
Auch das LED-Management, das sich der Entwicklung von
LEDs, dem Sonderbau und der Eigenbestückung widmet, hat
seinen Sitz in Jungingen. Durch eigene LED-Bestückungs-
linien kann RIDI angepasste LED-Module fertigen, um den
wachsenden Anforderungen an Lichttechnik und Design
gerecht zu werden.
Im Fertigungscenter Zeuthen werden auf 15.000 m2
Wannenleuchten, Pendelleuchten und Lichtleisten herge-
stellt. In Rellingen werden auf 2.800 m2 ausschließlich Teile
für das RIDI LINIA Lichtbandsystem gefertigt. Aufgrund der
hohen Stückzahlen bei diesen Produkten ist die Fertigung
weitgehend automatisiert.
RIDI Leuchten GmbH is a medium-sized enterprise
established in the marketplace as a supplier of technical
luminaires for over 60 years.
Today, the company is ideally placed with several production
locations in Germany and Poland, subsidiaries across Europe
and a large number of representations in Germany and
Europe-wide. A diverse product portfolio of luminaire
models, on-going development of its luminaires and bespoke
design of non-standard models all set RIDI apart as a
manufacturer of quality. RIDI is also involved in the imple-
mentation of light planning projects ranging from simple
lighting solutions to complex lighting control systems.
RIDI‘s Jungingen location encompasses a production area
of around 35,000 square metres and is also the company
headquarters. The focus of production in Jungingen is on
louvre luminaires, lighting systems, architectural lighting and
special luminaires. A wide range of luminaire components
are also produced here for the company’s plants in Zeuthen
and Rellingen.
Jungingen is also home to the LED management, which is
dedicated to the development of LEDs, non-standard pro-
duction and in-house LED fittings. With its own LED fitting
plant, RIDI is now in a position to produce LED modules
adapted in-house to address the growing demands made on
lighting technology and design.
The Zeuthen production centre manufactures diffuser lumi-
naires, pendant luminaires and continuous lighting systems
over an area of 15,000 square metres. The 2,800 square
metres of the Rellingen site are set aside exclusively for
production of the RIDI LINIA continuous lighting system.
Because of the high piece numbers involved, the processes
used to manufacture these products are largely automated.

RIDI steigt in die Halbleitertechnik ein!
RIDI Leuchten GmbH baute 2010 im Werk
Jungingen eine Abteilung auf, die sich ausschließ-
lich der Entwicklung von LEDs, dem Sonderbau
und besonders der Eigenbestückung von Modulen
mit LEDs beschäftigt. Hier entstand 2012 die
RIDI-TUBE, ein von RIDI entwickeltes und gefertig-
tes LED-Leuchtmittel, das so einfach zu wechseln
ist wie eine konventionelle T16- oder T26-Lampe.
Schnell kristallisierte sich heraus, dass RIDI nur
durch eigene LED-Bestückungslinien in der Lage
ist, angepasste und individuelle LED-Module zu
fertigen. Ein weiterer wichtiger Aspekt ist die
Unabhängigkeit von externen Lieferanten.
Die RIDI GROUP kann schnell und selbstständig
auf die wachsenden Anforderungen und auf
Kundenwünsche reagieren.
Die flexible Bestückung ermöglicht eine perfekte
Anpassung an den jeweiligen Leuchtentyp und
schließlich das ideale Ergebnis durch bestmögliche
Ausleuchtung.
Die LED Leuchtmittel-Herstellung für die eige-

RIDI enters into semiconductor technology!
In 2010, RIDI Leuchten GmbH established a
department in the Jungingen plant solely for
developing LEDs, the special assembly and more
particularly the in-house assembly of modules
containing LEDs. In 2012, the RIDI-TUBE emerged
here, an LED illuminant developed and produced
by RIDI, which is as easy to replace as the conven-
tional T16 or T26 lamp.
It soon became very apparent that RIDI was able
to produce modified and customised LED modules
only by having its own LED assembly lines.
Another important aspect is the independence
from external suppliers. The RIDI GROUP can react
quickly and autonomously to the growing require-
ments and to customer requests.
Flexible assembly allows ideal modification to the
luminaire type concerned and ultimately the opti-
mum result through the best-possible illumination.
LED luminaire production for in-house luminaires
now holds an important position within production
and continues to grow.

Rundum Licht in LED – unschlagbar!
Die RIDI-TUBE 360 hat eine Abstrahlung mit 70% Direktlicht
und annähernd 30% Indirektanteil. Eine Innovation von RIDI.
Die RIDI-TUBE ist ein von RIDI entwickeltes und gefertigtes
LED-Leuchtmittel. Durch das innovative Fassung-Sockel-
System lässt sich die RIDI-TUBE genauso einfach wechseln
wie konventionelle T16- oder T26-Lampen. Die Abmessun-
gen orientieren sich an herkömmlichen Leuchtstofflampen
und die Lichtstrompakete wurden entsprechend den
T16-HE-Wattagen mit bis zu 3.300 lm konzipiert. Des Wei-
teren sind HO-Lichtströme mit bis zu 6.730 lm verfügbar.
Mit dem neu entwickelten Sockel-Res wird sich die RIDI-
TUBE selbstständig den exakt benötigten Strom einstellen.

It is a LED lamp developed and produced in-house by RIDI.
The innovative lamp base system allows the RIDI-TUBE to

Its dimensions are designed to correspond to conventional
fluorescent lamps, and the luminous flux packages also com-
ply with T16-HE wattages with up to 3,300 lm. High-output

Human Centric Lighting mit „Tunable White"
Licht wirkt auf das Wohlbefinden des Menschen ein, gestaltet seinen
Tag- und Nachtrhythmus und beeinflusst bekanntlich seine Konzen-
trationsfähigkeit. Im Mittelpunkt stehen hierbei der Mensch, seine
Gesundheit sowie der Einfluss von künstlicher Beleuchtung auf sein
Wohlbefinden. Die spektrale Zusammensetzung des künstlichen
Lichts sowie das Beleuchtungsniveau orientieren sich am Verlauf des
natürlichen Tageslichts und bilden ihn weitestgehend nach.
Diese Parameter entscheiden maßgeblich ob das Licht auf den
menschlichen Organismus aktivierend oder entspannend wirkt.
RIDI Group setzt die Steuerung „Tunable White" markenübergreifend
ein.

Light has an effect on our wellbeing, defines our day and night rhythm
and has been proven to influence our powers of concentration.
The focus here is on people, their health and the influence of artificial
light on their well-being. The spectral composition of artificial light
and the illumination level are based on the course of natural daylight,
trying to imitate it as far as possible.
These parameters are crucial to whether the light has an activating or
relaxing effect on the human organism.
RIDI Group uses the "Tunable White" control across all brands.

14. One main feature of light control systems for individual room and floor lamp applications is that
they can be operated directly after installation without much programming – just plug and play.
The multi-sensor integrated into the floor lamp or a master luminaire controls the light according
to demand and switches the lighting ON or OFF automatically, depending on user presence.
Manual operation via switches or remote control is possible at any time.
Additional slave luminaires, which are connected to the master luminaire via a DALI control line,
are automatically controlled through a broadcast process and do not have to be addressed.
For individual personalisation of the illumination, specific parameters of the light control,
e.g. the trailing time, can be set with a PC software and a special programming remote control.
This allows even simple systems to be easily and flexibly adapted to local conditions and user
requirements.

Lichtsteuersysteme für die Anwendungsbereiche Einzelraum und
Stehleuchte zeichnen sich dadurch aus, dass sie ohne größeren
Programmieraufwand direkt nach der Installation betrieben werden
können – sozusagen „Plug and Play“.
Der in der Stehleuchte oder in einer Masterleuchte integrierte Multi-
sensor regelt das Licht bedarfsweise und schaltet die Beleuchtung
vollautomatisch je nach Anwesenheit EIN oder AUS. Eine manuelle
Bedienung mittels Taster oder Fernbedienung ist jederzeit möglich.
Weitere Slaveleuchten, die mit der Masterleuchte über eine
DALI-Steuerleitung verbunden sind, werden automatisch im Broad-
castverfahren mitgeregelt und müssen nicht adressiert werden.
Für eine individuelle Personalisierung der Beleuchtung können
einzelne Parameter der Lichtsteuerung wie z.B. die Nachlaufzeit
mit Hilfe einer PC-Software und einer speziellen Programmierfern-
bedienung eingestellt werden.
Auch die einfachen Systeme können dadurch unkompliziert
und flexibel auf die örtlichen Gegebenheiten und Nutzerwünsche
angepasst werden.

Mit RIDI Smart Control können LED Leuchten über
eine intuitive und hoch visuelle Benutzeroberfläche
auf einfachste Weise per Smartphone oder Tablet
gesteuert werden.
Die reizvolle App, die Leuchten via Bluetooth
steuert, macht Beleuchtung zu einem Erlebnis
und kann bei nahezu allen RIDI, Spectral und li:fy
LED-Leuchten angewendet werden.
Ein kleines Modul, eingebaut in die Leuchte, bietet
die Möglichkeit, Leuchten auf einfache und prakti-
sche Art per Smartphone oder Tablet zu bedienen.
Die Installation überzeugt durch einfachste Hand-
habung: Weder eine neue Verkabelung, Gateways
oder Netzwerke sind notwendig.
Die eingesteckte Leuchte wird ohne weitere Kon-

16. RIDI LINIA LED impresses through efficiency and quality!
RIDI LED technology is state-of-the-art and produced on our
own assembly lines. It goes without saying that the LEDs are
put through their paces beforehand in order to guarantee the
renowned RIDI quality. That's why RIDI can also provide a
long warranty.
The linear circuit boards with mid-power LEDs ensure the
highest efficiency. The SELV-compliant circuit boards have
full-surface contact with the aluminium profile for optimum
heat dissipation. Uniform light, perfect glare control and a
high-quality colour reproduction of Ra > 80 are ingeniously
harmonised with one other. Light colour 840 is offered as
standard, and corresponds to a 4000 Kelvin colour tempera-
ture. Special designs to 3000 or 6500 Kelvin are possible.
The LED gear trays can be inserted without the use of tools,
even in existing carrier rails.

18. Für den Einsatz im Einzelhandel oder Shop wurde
speziell die Black Line aufgelegt, um den optischen
Anforderungen in diesen Bereichen nachzukom-
men. Dazu wurde eine Regaloptik mit enger, doppelt
asymmetrischer Lichtverteilung entwickelt.

RIDI LINIA LED führt die bekannten Prinzipien
des RIDI LINIA Lichtbandes fort: Schnell, einfach,
sicher, werkzeuglos und absolut variabel!
Basierend auf dem bewährten Lichtbandsystem
erweitern die LED-Geräteträger RIDI LINIA-FLAT
das flexible Baukastensystem um hocheffiziente
Leuchtelemente.
Der Geräteträger aus Aluminiumstrangpressprofil
nimmt die RIDI-LED-Linearmodule und die Optiken
aus klarem PMMA mit Längsprismenstruktur auf.
Die Linearmodule werden durch Verschränken im
Aluprofil gehalten, wodurch die Wärme über die
gesamte Länge optimal abgeleitet wird.
Für die Lichtlenkung sind keine zusätzlichen
Reflektoren notwendig, was eine extrem flache
und schlanke Bauform ermöglicht.
Für verschiedene Anwendungen kann aus zahl-
reichen Lichtverteilungen gewählt werden.
Die Variante mit einer Wanne aus satiniertem
PMMA sorgt für diffuse Lichtverteilung und
leichten Indirektanteil. Für eine extrem schlanke
Bauform schließt auch die Wanne flächenbündig
mit dem Geräteträger und der Tragschiene ab.
Für Anwendungen, die höhere Lichtströme erfor-
dern, gibt es einlampige Geräteträger mit bis zu
8.200 lm und zweilampige mit bis zu 16.400 lm.
RIDI LINIA LED is taking the familiar RIDI LINIA
continuous lighting system to a new level with a
solution that is fast, simple, reliable and totally
variable – all without the need for tools!
On the basis of the tried and tested continuous
lighting system, the new LED gear trays LINIA FLAT
have now been added to the flexible modular
concept to create a range of high-efficiency lighting
elements.
The gear trays made of extruded profile aluminium
accommodate the RIDI LED linear modules and the
optics made of clear PMMA with their longitudinal
prismatic structure. The linear modules are held
'in the aluminium profile by interlocking catches
which ensure optimum dissipation of heat over the
entire length. No additional reflectors are required
for optical control, making for a low-profile, slimline
luminaire design.
For different applications, a number of different
light distribution modes are available to choose
from.
The variant with diffuser in satinised PMMA
ensures diffuse light distribution with a slight
indirect component. For an extremely low-profile,
slimline design, the diffuser closes flush with the
gear tray and the trunking.
For applications requiring a higher light flux, there
is a single-lamp gear tray with up to 8,200 lm and
a two-lamp version with up to 16,400 lm.

Außen glatt und konisch, innen wird gekühlt: Der effiziente Strahler LUPO.
Innerhalb des Reflektorgehäuses aus Aluminiumdruckguss befinden sich Kühlrippen
für eine wartungsfreie Passivkühlung und ein optimales Thermomanagement.
Am Dreh-Kipp-Gelenk ist der Strahler um 350° drehbar und um 90° schwenkbar.

Bereichen. Speziell für den Einzelhandel sind neben den Farbtemperaturen 3000 oder
4000 Kelvin auch Varianten mit Lebensmittellichtfarben für Fleisch- oder Backwaren

Outside smooth and conical, inside cooling: The efficient LED spot LUPO. Inside the
reflector housing made of die-cast aluminium are cooling fins for maintenance-free
passive cooling and optimum thermal management. The swivel and tilt fixture enables
350° rotation and 90 swivel action. Optical control is provided by a specular aluminium

Lichtleisten eignen sich besonders gut für Nebenräume oder Räume in denen nicht viel

Speziell für die industriellen Anwendungen mit ihren hohen
Anforderungen an Lichttechnik und Umgebungsparameter
wurden die Leuchten HERO und ROBUST entwickelt. Lange
Lebensdauer, Wartungsfreiheit und hohe Effizienz spielen
hier eine große Rolle.
Bestückt mit hocheffizienten LED-Modulen sind sie die wirt-
schaftliche Alternative zur konventionellen Beleuchtung mit
250 bis 400 Watt Hochdruckentladungslampen. Bei deut-
lich geringerem Energieverbrauch fluten sie Hallen und hohe
Räume mit enormem Lichtstrom.
Die Gestaltung des kompakten HERO Leuchtenkörpers aus
einzelnen Aluminiumprofilen lässt Raum für thermische
Luftzirkulationen und garantiert somit ein optimales Wärme-
management für hohe Lichtströme. Die Lichtlenkung erfolgt
mittels PMMA-Optiken in breit oder tief strahlender Aus-
führung.
ROBUST ist ebenso ein kompaktes Kraftpaket mit stabilem
Gehäuse aus Aluminiumdruckguss für eine hohe Schlag-
festigkeit (IK09). Bei Umgebungstemperaturen von -20°C
bis +40°C bringt sie ihre volle Leistung von bis zu 15.000 lm
bzw. 23.000 lm.
Dicht verschlossen mit einer strukturierten Glasscheibe
erreicht die ROBUST Schutzart IP66. Sowohl die LED-Modu-
le als auch der glänzende Parabolspiegelraster für tief oder
breit strahlende Lichtverteilung sind vor äußeren Einflüssen
geschützt.
The HERO and ROBUST luminaires were developed specifi-
cally for industrial applications with their extreme demands
in terms of lighting technology and environmental condi-
tions. A long service life, freedom from maintenance and
outstanding efficiency are key requirements here.
Fitted with highly efficient LED modules, these are the
economical alternative to conventional lighting with 250 to
400 Watt high pressure discharge lamps. They flood halls
and high-ceilinged rooms with an enormous luminous flux
but consume substantially less energy.
The design of the compact HERO luminaire body made of
individual aluminium profile elements leaves plenty of space
for air circulation, guaranteeing optimum thermal manage-
ment for high luminous flux levels. Optical control is perfor-
med by PMMA optics in a wide or narrow beam version.
ROBUST is an equally compact power house with a sturdy
housing in die-cast aluminium for high impact strength
(IK09). At ambient temperatures of -20°C to +40°C, it
delivers its full output of up to 15,000 lm or 23,000 lm.
Hermetically sealed with a structured glass panel, the
ROBUST comes with a IP66 protection rating. Both the
LED module and also the specular parabolic mirror louvres
provide narrow or wide-beam light distribution and are
protected from external influences.

Leuchten für die Lebensmittelindustrie
In der Lebensmittelindustrie gelten besonders hohe
Hygiene- und Sicherheitsvorschriften.
Die EG-Verordnung 852/2004 sieht die Anwendung
des HACCP-Konzeptes (Hazard Analysis and Criti-
cal Control Points) in allen Unternehmen, die mit der
Produktion, der Verarbeitung, der Lagerung und dem
Vertrieb von Lebensmitteln beschäftigt sind, ver-
pflichtend vor.
Speziell für Beleuchtungsaufgaben in Lebensmittel-
unternehmen kann das RIDI LINIA Lichtband mit den
LINIA FLAT Geräteträgern VLG-F eingesetzt werden.
Sie entsprechen den Vorgaben des Lebensmittel-
rechtes im Sinne der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 852/2004
(HACCP) Anlage II Kap. I Ziffer 2 a, b, Kap. II Ziffer 1 c
im Bereich von Leuchten.
Des Weiteren sind auch die Leuchten IHLS und PFZO
nach Lebensmittelrecht zertifiziert.
Lichtband für industrielle Anwendungen
Die Standard-Geräteträger LINIA FLAT des RIDI
LINIA Lichtbands erfüllen in Kombination mit den
entsprechenden Tragschienendichtungen Schutzart
IP54.
Besonders für industrielle Anwendungen und Berei-
che, in denen das zeitweise Auftreten verschiedener
chemischer Konzentrationen nicht auszuschließen
ist, wurden die LINIA FLAT Industrie-Geräteträger
entwickelt. Die darin zum Einsatz kommenden LED
Linearmodule sind extrem robust, da die LEDs spe-
ziell beschichtet und somit gegen äußere Einflüsse
geschützt sind.
Luminaires for the food industry
The hygiene and safety regulations applicable in the
food industry are particularly stringent. EC Regulati-
on 852/2004 stipulates use of the HACCP (Hazard
Analysis and Critical Control Points) concept as a
mandatory requirement in all companies involved in
the production, processing, storage and sale of food.
Specifically for use in food outlets, the RIDI LINIA
continuous lighting system can be fitted with LINEA
FLAT VLG-F gear trays.
They are in compliance with the lighting stipulations
of the Food Safety Act as set out by Regulation (EC)
no. 852/2004 (HACCP) Annex II Chapter I Point 2 a,
b, Section II point 1 c.
The IHLS and PFZO are also certified in compliance
with food legislation.
Continuous lighting system for industrial applications
The standard LINIA FLAT gear trays of the RIDI LINIA
continuous lighting system comply with an IP54
protection rating in combination with the relevant
trunking seals.
The LINIA FLAT industrial gear trays were developed
specifically for industrial applications and areas in
which the periodical occurrence of different chemical
concentrations cannot be excluded. The linear modu-
les used in these gear trays are extremely durable, as
the LEDs have been specially coated and so protected
against external influences.

The LED display light RLS1 is a true power pack in
a compact design with a height of 380 mm and a
reflector diameter of 270 mm. The solid housing
made of die-cast aluminium complies with lumi-
naire protection rating IP65. Its contemporary look
is defined by generously dimensioned cooling fins
which ensure safe, efficient heat dissipation.
Its inner qualities are impressive too: the hard
exterior shell packs up to 13,000 lumen. The LED-
COB module in a light colour of 830 or 840 is
covered by a durable glass lens for narrow or wide
beam light distribution. The electrical components
are integrated in the luminaire housing.
The larger dimensioned RLS2 with up to 25,000 lu-
men is available as another higher-powered variant.
RLS-1/RLS-2
Die LED Hallenreflektorleuchte RLS1 ist ein echtes
Kraftpaket in kompakter Bauform mit einer Höhe
von 380 mm und einem Reflektordurchmesser von
270 mm. Mit dem optisch sehr ansprechenden
Gehäuse aus Aluminiumdruckguss erfüllt die
Leuchte Schutzart IP65. Die großzügig dimensio-

Auch die inneren Werte überzeugen: Hinter der
harten Schale verbergen sich bis zu 13.000 Lumen.
Das LED-COB-Modul in Lichtfarbe 830 oder 840
ist mit einer robusten Glaslinse für tief oder breit
strahlende Lichtverteilung abgedeckt. Die elektri-
schen Bauteile sind im Leuchtengehäuse integriert.
Eine weitere leistungsstärkere Variante stellt der
größer dimensionierte RLS2 mit bis zu 25.000
Lumen dar.
Die RLS-1 und RLS-2 zeigen, dass auch in indus-
triellen Anwendungen nicht auf Design verzichtet
werden muss.

LENSES – the luminaire system of the future
With LENSES, RIDI has created a luminaire ideally suited for
the office environment. Available as a pendant, floor-stan-
ding, surface mounted or recessed luminaire, it offers all the
scope needed to create the perfect lighting conditions in
and around the office and workplace. The main component
of this luminaire family is a lens array comprising four rows
of lenses to guarantee glare-free working. The base profile
made of aluminium guarantees absolute stability. The lens
array comes in three different lengths (224 mm, 504 mm
and 728 mm). By arranging the lens arrays in rows, different
luminaire lengths can be created.
Integrated central elements in different lengths accommoda-
te the optional sensors. The indirect lighting component of
around 30% (1,500 lm) is generated by two linear modules
on the top of the luminaire, while 70% of the light generated
is direct (3.500 lm). In all the available variants, the elec-
trical components are accommodated inside the luminaire.
The LENSES-P can be mounted directly on the ceiling
without the need for a canopy using a Y-shaped wire
pendant. The floor-standing luminaire has a touchpanel for
lighting control with an optional USB charging port. The
ceiling variant in a surface mounted or recessed version
completes the available range. A complete luminaire family,

LENSES – das Leuchtensystem der Zukunft
Mit der LENSES hat RIDI eine Leuchte geschaffen, die in
allen Varianten prädestiniert für den Einsatz im Officebereich
ist. Als Pendel-, Steh-, Anbau- oder Einbauleuchte bietet sie
den kompletten Spielraum der nötig ist, um das Büro und
den Arbeitsplatz beleuchtungstechnisch optimal einzurich-
ten. Hauptbestandteil der Leuchtenfamilie ist ein Optikarray
aus vier Optikreihen, die ein blendfreies Arbeiten gewähr-
leisten. Das Grundprofil aus Aluminium garantiert absolute
Stabilität. Die Optikarrays gibt es in drei unterschiedlichen
Längen (224 mm, 504 mm und 728 mm). Durch das Anein-
anderreihen der Optikarrays werden unterschiedliche Leuch-
tenlängen realisiert. Integrierte Mittelteile in verschiedenen
Längen nehmen den optionalen Sensor auf. Der Indirektan-
teil von ca. 30% (1.500 lm), wird über zwei Linearmodule
auf der Oberseite der Leuchte erzeugt. Der Direktanteil
beträgt 70% (3.500 lm). In allen Varianten finden die elek-
trischen Bauteile in der Leuchte Platz. Die LENSES-P kann
dadurch über ein Y-Seilpendel direkt an der Decke, ohne
Baldachin, angebracht werden.
Die Stehleuchte verfügt zur Leuchtensteuerung über ein
Touchpanel mit optionalem USB-Ladeanschluss.
Die Deckenvarianten als An- und Einbauleuchten vervoll-
ständigen das Sortiment. Mit der LENSES ist somit eine
komplette Leuchtenfamilie entstanden, die einen großen
Freiraum bei der Lichtgestaltung bietet.
Die modulare Baureihe ermöglicht Architekten und Licht-
planern eine optimale Anpassung der Leuchten an die
Raumgestaltung.

Die hochwertigen RIDI LED-Module sorgen durch die Kanteneinspeisung für eine gleich-
mäßige, homogene Ausleuchtung. Durch eine matt-opale Scheibe wird eine sehr diffuse
Raumausleuchtung geschaffen. Die bildschirmarbeitsplatzgerechte Beleuchtung wird
mit einer nanostrukturierten Folie erreicht.
Die Materialien und Dimensionen des Leuchtengehäuses sind äquivalent zu der

F-EDGE is an addition to the established F-LINE family with all the scope and dimen-
sional freedom afforded by the use of LED technology.
The high-grade RIDI LED modules provide illumination from the edge for even, homo-
genous lighting. A matt opal panel creates highly diffuse illumination in the room.
A nanostructured film is used to achieve lighting in conformity with VDU workplace
legislation.
The materials and dimensions of the luminaire housing are equivalent to those of
the F-LINE family. The electrical components are integrated in the luminaire housing,
which is just 25 mm high and features a seamless underside.
The luminaire is designed for direct ceiling or pendant mounting. It is supplied with
direct lighting only and the option for an indirect component. Using the matching L, T

ture and Design, Stuttgart entstand die neue Trends setzen-
de Leuchtenfamilie DOME.
Das Design stellt eine Symbiose aus funktionaler Form-
gebung, fließenden Übergängen und klaren Kanten dar:
Einerseits die weiche Form des mattierten Leuchtenkopfs
aus Aluminiumdruckguss und andererseits die klare, glän-
zende Lichtaustrittsfläche.
DOME als Steh- oder Pendelleuchte verbindet intelligentes
Licht mit neuem Nutzen durch innovative Lösungen.
Die großflächigen LED-Module für den direkten Lichtaustritt
sind mit einer transparenten PMMA-Scheibe abgedeckt,
deren harte Außenkante sichtbar ist. Der aufgedruckte
schwarze Rahmen unterstützt die klare Linienführung. Die
innenliegende Mikroprismenscheibe sorgt für Entblendung.
Eine mattierte Scheibe schützt die LED-Module auf der
Rückseite des Leuchtenkopfs und streut den Indirektanteil.
Alle elektrischen Bauteile sind sowohl in die Stehleuchte als
auch in die nur 35 mm hohe Pendelleuchte integriert.

The new trendsetting DOME luminaire family has been
created in association with Blocher Blocher Partners - Archi-
tecture and Design, Stuttgart. The design is a symbiosis
of functional styling, flowing transitions and clear edge
contours: The soft shape of the matt-finished luminaire
head in die cast aluminium contrasts effectively with the
clarity of the specular light outlet surface.
DOME is available as a floor-standing or pendant luminaire,
and ideally combines perfect lighting with innovative
technical solutions.
The generously dimensioned LED modules for direct light
beam are covered by a transparent PMMA panel whose hard
outer edge is visible. The imprinted black frame supports the
clarity of the linear styling. The internal microprism panel
ensures a dazzle-free effect. A matt finish panel protects the
LED modules at the back of the luminaire head and scatters
the direct component. All electrical components are inte-
grated, both in the floor-standing luminaire and in the high
pendant version, which is just 35 mm high.
Optionally, DOME-P can be equipped with presence and
daylight sensors.
For applications requiring more light, a two-headed pendant
luminaire is available, which is joined along the longitudinal
side.

Zusammen mit dem international renommierten Ingenieurbüro Kardorff Ingenieure
Lichtplanung GmbH aus Berlin entstand die Leuchtenfamilie Orto. Ihr wohl markantestes
Gestaltungselement ist der präzise rechte Winkel. Die Stehleuchte im schlichten Design
eignet sich hervorragend für den Officebereich und besticht am Arbeitsplatz durch ihr
unaufdringliches Auftreten bei höchster Funktionalität. Der Kopf, mit ca. 1 m Ausladung,
ist mit einem Zellenraster für die Lichtlenkung ausgestattet, welches ein blendfreies
Arbeiten gewährleistet. Die einzelnen LEDs sind mit einer Scheibe abgedeckt.
Die Steuerung erfolgt über ein Touchpanel mit integriertem USB-Ladeanschluss.

Die quadratische LED-Pendelleuchte Quadron

LED pendant luminaire Quadron is certain to
impress on first sight. Suspended at four pendant
points, it creates a high-impact feature in any room.
In the dimmable luminaire, the light is directed

pendant luminaire appears to hover almost
weightless in the room. The microprism diffuser
panel provides extremely homogenous light
distribution without creating multiple shadows,
while the indirect component (35%) reduces
contrast on the ceiling. As a dimmable variant,
this luminaire enables even greater flexibility, the
elegant frame which acts as a sheath for the
hovering light creating a gently dynamic lighting
ambience for the whole room. The electrical

What makes the modular Spectral LED Lichtbaukasten
range special are its wealth of different variants, its minimal
cross-section and the high-grade materials used.
Individually, in rows or as configured constructs, these com-
ponents of the modular Lichtbaukasten range accentuate
any room to perfect effect.
The elegant styling is defined by an aluminium profile
with a 38 x 41 mm cross-section, LED linear modules and
flush-abutting linear optics in PMMA.
The five different lengths of the this plain, simple complete
luminaire can be combined to create constructs. Elegant

Die direkt-indirekt strahlende Pendelleuchte IXS zeichnet
sich durch ihren extrem schmalen Leuchtenkörper und die
zurückversetzten Stirnteile aus.
Die filigrane Leuchte mit einer Höhe von 80 mm misst innen
eine Breite von 16 mm und 24 mm an den Außenseiten.
Die IXS ist mit einer Länge von 1200 oder 1500 mm für
den Empfangs- und Tresenbereich sowie an Theken und in
Besprechungsräumen ideal einsetzbar. Der Indirektanteil
mit 2.700 lm und einer zurückversetzten, mattierten Scheibe
sorgt für eine weiche Grundbeleuchtung. Der Direktanteil
mit 1.300 oder 4.000 lm und einer zurückversetzten Längs-
prismenscheibe spendet hingegen einen gezielten Lichtaus-

Alle elektrischen Bauteile sind im extrem schmalen Alumini-

leitung direkt an der Decke, ohne Baldachin, abgependelt.

The direct-indirect beam pendant luminaire IXS comes with
a striking ultra-narrow luminaire body and inset end caps.
The filigree luminaire with its height of 80 mm measures

The indirect component with 2,700 lm and an inset matt
finish panel provide soft background lighting. By contrast,
the direct component with 1,300 or 4,000 lm and an inset
longitudinal prism panel emits a direct downward beam.
All the electrical components are accommodated in the
extremely narrow aluminium profile, allowing the luminaire
with its recessed wire clamps and transparent connecting
cable to be suspended directly from the ceiling without
a canopy.

Das senkrecht stehende Lichtelement SQL-SV in klassischer, rechteckiger Form besteht
aus einem schlichten, schmalen Aluminiumstrangpressprofil mit seitlichem Lichtaustritt.
Die streng geometrischen Leuchtenformen erlauben eine vollkommene Wahrnehmung
des Lichts.
Für eine homogene Lichtauskopplung sind die RIDI LED-Module mit einer opalen
Scheibe abgedeckt. Der solide Leuchtenfuß aus massivem Stahl gewährleistet einen
festen Stand.
Diese extrem schlanke Lichtstele mit einem Querschnitt von 37 x 68 mm und einer

The vertical floor-standing lighting element SQL-SV with its classic rectangular shape
comprises a plain narrow aluminium extruded profile housing whose light emerges at
one side.
The strictly geometric styling of the luminaire steps subtly into the background, allowing
the light to take centre stage: The RIDI LED modules are covered by an opal panel to
create homogenous light emission, while the sturdy luminaire base in solid steel ensures
solid stability on the floor.
The extremely narrow light column with its cross section of just 37 x 68 mm and the
overall height of 1680 mm make this luminaire just as suited for private as commercial
use as an elegant, classical source of light to show off the architectural features of
foyers, corridors or stairwells.

Akustiklösungen gewinnen in der modernen Architektur
mehr und mehr an Bedeutung. Ein Grund sind Baustoffe mit
harten Oberflächen wie Beton oder Glas – sie reflektieren
den Schall und führen zu einem unangenehmen Halleffekt.
Auch lärmintensive Umgebungen, wie beispielsweise
Großraumbüros oder Kindertagesstätten, können die
Konzentration erheblich beeinträchtigen.
Es gibt viele Arten einer optimalen akustischen Raumgestal-
tung. Eine Hürde bildet dabei jedoch häufig die Suche nach
einer passenden Beleuchtungslösung.
Spectral bietet die Möglichkeit einer objektbezogenen
Lösung für Akustik und Beleuchtung. Funktion und Design
haben dabei den gleichen Stellenwert.
In der „Geography library“ an der Universität in Bristol
wurden beispielsweise abgehängte Akustikinseln installiert.
Spectral lieferte passend dazu ein effektives und effizientes
Lichtkonzept. Die leuchtenden Stora-Profile wurden mittig
um flache Akustikpanels ergänzt, um in Form, Dimension
und Stil übereinzustimmen.
Blade sind als vertikal abgehängte Deckensysteme ein weite-
res effektives Instrument für eine angenehme Raumakustik.
In Zusammenarbeit mit der Gesellschaft für Akustik und
Gestaltung mbH (GfAG) in Bietigheim-Bissingen entstand
die Leuchte Blade, die in Kombination mit Akustikbaffeln ein
einheitliches Raumbild entstehen lässt. Die Decke bleibt frei
zugänglich, die Luft kann ungehindert zirkulieren.
Die Elemente können in unterschiedlichen Farben und Ober-
flächen kundenspezifisch angefertigt werden.
Auch akustisch wirksame Deckensegel mit integrierten
Leuchten sind eine Möglichkeit, um den Halleffekt in Räu-
men zu minimieren.
Acoustic solutions are gaining increasingly in significance in
contemporary architecture. One reason for this is the use of
hard surfaces such as concrete or glass, which reflect noise
and create an unpleasant Hall effect. In noise-intensive
environments such as open plan offices or child day-care
centres the level of noise can seriously affect concentration.
There are many ways to achieve optimum acoustic room
design. However, one frequently encountered hurdle is the
search for a suitable lighting solution.
Spectral offers scope to create a property-specific solution
encompassing both acoustics and lighting with the emphasis
equally on function and design.
In the Geography Library at the University of Bristol, for
instance, suspended acoustic islands have been installed.
Spectral supplied an effective and efficient light concept to
match. The illuminated Stora profiles were supplemented in
the centre by flat acoustic panels which created an ideal
symbiosis of form, dimension and style.
Blade in the form of vertically suspended ceiling elements
are another effective instrument for creating pleasant room
acoustics.
Working cooperation with Gesellschaft für Akustik und
Gestaltung mbH (GfAG), an acoustics and design specialist
in Bietigheim-Bissingen, the Blade has been created.
Working in conjunction with acoustic baffles, this enables a
homogenous appearance to be created in the room.
The ceiling remains freely accessible, the air can circulate
unobstructed. The elements can be custom produced in
different colours and surface finishes.
Acoustically effective ceiling sails with integrated luminaires
are another possibility for minimizing the hall effect in
rooms.
