Harry Crook Winners 2006
“We joined Kleeneze in May 2004, at the age of 22 and 23 years old. When we joined, I was working full­time as a
registered childminder looking after six children and also my 18 month­old baby brother who lived with me as his
mother passed away when he was just a few weeks old.
I gave up childminding last September and went full­time ­ well as full­time as you can with a little child! Michael has
continued work as a Warehouse Manager. He’s working twelve hour shifts, five days a week and also two weekends
of the month, but he has vowed to give up his job when our income reaches £5,000 per month.
Receiving the Harry Crook Trophy was probably one of the best experiences we’ve had so far. We can say that

“We came across the Kleeneze Opportunity in November 2006 when Mark replied to an advert for an extra part­time
income. We have a large family with five kids ­ three are under 5 ­ and a very large mortgage. The rising cost of living
had meant that our fixed incomes were becoming a bit stretched and we needed to generate some additional money
to maintain our lifestyle. We were both working full­time, Mark as a Maintenance Systems Engineer on a power
station and I’m a Customer Services Officer for an international chemicals company.

on a part­time basis. However, in a very short period of time we realised that this opportunity could allow us to live
