SPEAKER NOTES
Enterprise Applications are a subset of the OpenText product portfolio dealing with the integration into leading eco-systems such as SAP, Microsoft, Oracle and Salesforce.
They build on top of the OpenText EIM portfolio – particularly on the Experience and Content solutions.
On top of Open Text EIM suites (Process, Experience, Content, Business Network and Analytics) OpenText delivers excellent integrations into the world-leading business eco systems for ERP, CRM and HCM such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and Salesforce.
This enables organizations to fully digitize and automate the flow of information in the context of the business processes driven by these applications. This puts information into context – which makes it personal, actionable and relevant.
We provide our customers with a full portfolio of enterprise applications focused on the integration into SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and (now also) Salesforce.
VIM and Business Center deal with the processing of incoming information – originating from paper documents, fax, email or from business networks
Extended ECM (which we deliver with SAP, SuccessFactors, Oracle, and Salesforce integrations), DAM and SharePoint Services deal with the enterprise-wide management of digital content and media assets
Document Presentment and PowerDocs deal with the assembly of documents and customer communications – serving different outbound channels
<now talking about the box on the right>
There’s a constant stream of innovations delivered by Enterprise Applications:
All our SAP products will run on S/4HANA – the new SAP Business Suite
We have a deep integration into SAP Hybris – covering Commerce, Sales, Marketing, and Billing use cases
We ship a productized integration into SuccessFactors – for Document Management and Document Generation
We will fully leverage and embrace SAP’s new User Experience paradigm SAP Fiori® - shipping Fiori frontends for VIM, Business Center and Extended ECM
And, last but not least – we have integrations with Salesforce –the biggest CRM ecosystems on earth – fully integrated in SFDC and available on AppExchange
SPEAKER NOTES
We as OpenText take care of the content – the whole lifecycle of the content. And Content comes in many forms: document, email and more and more digital media such as images and videos
But we don’t stop there – content needs context to be relevant, actionable and personal – so it needs to be integrated with the leading business processes and be exposed in the context of the task a user is working on
This produces value on a new level – increasing productivity, improve customer service, foster better and faster decisions and last but not least provide a stable framework for compliance
Extended ECM for SharePoint brings business content to the SharePoint user with all the business context for efficient participation in business process.
This includes
Visibility of relevant and up-to-date metadata about the selected business object or transaction.
Access to content that is relevant to the selected business object enables collaboration and prevents duplication of work and content. Role-based access control can be driven directly by business processes.
Quick navigation to other business objects or transaction that are related to the current item, e.g. the sales orders of a customer, the maintenance notifications or vendor of a piece of equipment.
Quick navigation to the underlying business object in the leading business application, like for example SAP GUI or Salesforce.com.
The same functionality is also available for SharePoint Online and Office 365.
