1. The most interesting fact to me is seeing how fast technical information is growing. The videos
said, "The amount of new technical information is doubling every two years.' It goes on to say,
"For students starting a four-year technical or college degree, half of what they learn in their first
year of study will be outdated by their third year of study." I'm currently the digital media
director at my job, and it can be extremely frustrating at which the speed of technology is
moving. You learn a new program or application or trend, and what feels like that next day it's
obsolete. However, a positive note is that some of the new things coming out make my job a lot
easier and more straightforward, a video that would take me a week to do can be done in a day or
two now with some of the programs that have come out. I think the impact it has on marketing is
similar to other things, It will have to change with the direction things are headed but, it gives
marketers a lot of new options and abilities to find customers and figure out how to get their
information in front of relevant people.
