Meeting Delta Electricity’s requirements
Additional power was required to meet peak demand. Delta Electricity’s power
generation portfolio consists of four coal-fired power plants totalling 4240 MW
of capacity. Alstom’s turnkey delivery of the 660 MW gas fired peaking power
plant will expand Delta Electricity’s capabilities in providing power during peak
demand periods and will be an important complement to their existing portfolio
of base load generation assets, serving the electricity needs of the future.
This project confirms Alstom’s ability to deliver
clean integrated power solutions
