Hinweis der Redaktion
- Aquaculture, livestock and crop production face difficulties
Environmental pollution
Huge economic losses due to diseases, especially in aquaculture
Food safety
- Threats for the environment and coastal ecosystems for years:
Uncontrolled fishery and aquaculture diseases, environmental pollution
Untreated wastes (liquid and solid wastes)
Decline of natural resources and ecosystem degradation
Deforestation at the upstream of the rivers
Uncontrolled use of N-fertilizer and pesticides increase in eutrophic level in the water bodies; occurrence of toxic and harmful algae; accumulation of organochlorine pesticides in sediment and aquatic animals
- Urgent needs on improving and sustaining the system of 10,000+ commune health centers to deliver equitable and accessible healthcare for the disadvantaged and vulnerable populations in rural and/or mountainous areas.
- Persistent inadequacies in the primary care physician population and severely underdeveloped coherent primary care continuing medical education.
- Missed opportunities for prevention and early treatment lead to the over-loaded of hospitals and specialist care at higher levels.
