1.Is·lam
noun: Islam
the religion of the Muslims,
a monotheistic faith regarded as revealed through
Muhammad as the Prophet of Allah.
1.Mus·lim
noun: Muslim;
plural noun: Muslims;
1. a follower of the religion of Islam
Same “God” as the Christians
you say?
Well, that’s what we are going to
take a closer look at…
1.Quran (Koran)
Religious Text
The Quran is the central religious text of Islam,
which Muslims believe to be a revelation from God
The Qur'an, believed by Muslims to be the word of God, was revealed to the Prophet
Muhammad 1400 years ago. It is the supreme authority in Islam and the living source
of all Islamic teaching. Recognized as the greatest literary masterpiece in Arabic
)
No sex during daylight hours (must be a huge sacrifice)
Muslims pray (relate) to God
directly
Jews pray (relate) to God
directly
Christians can only have a relationship
with God
through the Son – Jesus Christ
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall
call on the name of the LORD
shall be delivered Joel 2:32
For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his
name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; “The God of
the whole earth” shall he be called. Isaiah 54:5
There are 100+ verses that list the different names of the Lord
And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob,
by [the name of] God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH
was I not known to them. Exodus 6:3
Which means: The God of the whole earth is known to people by different names
“Allah” is the one creator
of the universe
Jehovah God is the one creator
of the universe
The triune God is the one creator
of the universe
There are 28 Biblical passages
which explicitly teach there is
only One God
“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told
thee from that time, and have declared [it]? ye
[are] even my witnesses. Is there a God beside
me? Yea, there is no God; I know not [any]”
Isaiah 44:8
1. Deuteronomy 4:35,39 — Unto thee it was shown, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. (39) Know
therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the LORD he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
2. Deuteronomy 6:4 — Hear, O Israel: The LORD thy God is one LORD. [Note in Mark 12:28-34 how Jesus and a Jewish scribe he encountered
understood this text.]

that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel; now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.
7. 2 Kings 19:15 — And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the
God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.
8. 1 Chronicles 17:20 — O LORD, there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
9. Nehemiah 9:6 — Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou has made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that

that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
13. Isaiah43:10,11 — Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand

If you want to go in more detail – study these next two slides – if not: move past…
15. Isaiah 45:21 — Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time: who hath told it from

the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second
is like, namely this, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. And the scribe said unto him, Well,
Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the
understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, Thou art not far from the kingdom of God. And no man after that durst ask him any
question.
21. John 17:3 — And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

23. 1 Corinthians 8:4-6 — As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in
the world, and that there is none other God but one. For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many,
and lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and
we by him.

28. James 2:19 — Thou believes that there is one God; thou does well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
no Son?
God has
Allah – God – Only God “the Father”
(do not believe God had a son)
Jehovah God – believe God has a son
that will “one day” become the king
But reject Jesus as this man / son
God – Father, Son and Spirit -
“three in one”
Jesus is the Son of God
The English word "trinity" is derived from Latin trinitas,
meaning "the number three, a triad".
The first recorded use of this Greek word in Christian
theology (although not about the Divine Trinity) was by
Theophilus of Antioch in about 170 AD.
The first Church Council of Nicaea (325 AD) said little about
the Holy Spirit.
The doctrine of the divinity and personality of the Holy Spirit
was developed by Athanasius in the last decades of his life.
He defended and refined the Nicene formula.
By the end of the 4th century, under the leadership of Basil
of Caesarea, Gregory of Nyssa, and Gregory of Nazianzus
(the Cappadocian Fathers), the doctrine had reached
substantially its current form.
Some historical facts: The establishing of the “trinity” theology
Quotes from the
Quran:
Just like the Bible (the New Testament)
is the basis for Christian theology, the
Quran is the basis of the Muslim religion
“The teachings of Muhammad
(Allah) is rooted in love and peace
and a hearth to serve
the God of Abraham”
Don’t forget Allah's words in the Quran:
"It may be that Allah will grant love between you and those
whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over
all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. Allah
forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for
(your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing
kindly and justly with them: for Allah loves those who are
just." - Quran 60:7-8
Unfortunately many so-called Christians use the name of
our Lord as a swear word.
What will also surprise the Christians is the fact that the
Muslim does not speak the holy name of Jesus, in his own
language, without saying Eesa, alaihi assalam.
("Jesus, peace be upon him)
One persons answer:
As Muslims we have no choice. We had said in many words:
” WE BELIEVE IN ONE CREATOR, WE BELIEVE IN ALL HIS PROPHETS, WE
BELIEVE, THAT JESUS (peace be upon him) WAS ONE OF THE MIGHTIEST
PROPHETS OF GOD, THAT HE WAS THE MESSIAH AS WELL AS THE WORD OF
GOD, THAT HE WAS BORN MIRACULOUSLY- WITHOUT ANY MALE
INTERVENTION (which many modern-day Christians do not believe today),THAT
HE GAVE LIFE TO THE DEAD BY GOD’S PERMISSION, AND THAT HE HEALED
THOSE BORN BLIND AND THE LEPERS BY GOD’S PERMISSION.”
Yahoo Q and A:
Do Muslims love Jesus?
Judaism and Islam
have some common roots.
His name is Abraham.
Father of both peoples…
Abraham’s
“seed”Islam Judaism
This is God’s promise regarding
“the promised land”:
Genesis 15:18-21 (KJV):
In the same day the LORD made a covenant with
Abram, saying, unto thy seed have I given this
land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river,
the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the
Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites,
and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, And the
Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the
Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
“This is the land given to Abrahams seed”
Notice one important detail:
The land was given to
Abrahams “seed”…
As we know: Abraham had two sons –
Isaac (the promise)
and Ishmael ( the child with the bond
woman)
Hagar and Ismael
had to leave the family
Abraham blessing Ismael
as he sends his “first seed”
off into the dessert.
And God also promised to
bless Ismael. (Gen. 17:20)
Genesis 17:
6 And I will make you exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come
out of you.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you in their
generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you, and to your seed after you.
8 And I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land wherein you are a stranger,
all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession*; and I will be their God.
9 And God said to Abraham, You shall keep my covenant therefore, you, and your seed after
you in their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you;
Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
13 He that is born in your house must be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh
for an everlasting covenant.
14 Any uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall
be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.
.
(* But there were conditions – Deut. 28)
18 And Abraham said to God: O that Ishmael might live before you!
19 And God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shall call his
name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and
with his seed after him.
20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make
him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; and I will make him a great nation.
21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear to you at this set
time in the next year.
23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and every
male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in
the selfsame day, as God had said to him.
25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh
of his foreskin.
26 In the same day was Abraham circumcised and Ishmael his son.
27 And all the men of his house, born in the house were circumcised with him.
• What did we just learn:
• Genesis 17:21 makes it totally clear that God
made a covenant with Isaac
• Genesis 17:7 and 8 makes it equally clear that
the covenant was with Abrahams seed
• Ismael is as we know also Abrahams seed
• Genesis 17:6 says all the land of Canaan is
giving to Abrahams seed
• Important: In Genesis 17:10 and 13 God
makes it totally clear:
• The covenant is between God, Abrahams seed
and every man-child among you – those who
are born in Abraham’s house
• Abraham understand this and in Genesis
17:23 he circumcises – as instructed by God –
Ismael and every other male
• Preliminary conclusion:
• From this it should be clear that Ismael – the
Arab people – are included in God’s promise
• to live in all the land of Canaan – also called
the promised land,
• together with their “brothers” from Isaac –
the people of Israel
Even common sense tells us that “this land” includes Arabs as well as
Israel – it is already possessed by the “brother people” – Jews and Arabs –
Judaism and Islam. Both religions springing out from the same “root”.
A 1692 AD map of Canaan
Abraham is clearly significant in the formation of
Islam; he is found in 25 “chapters” of the Koran.
He is a prophet, one who received revelation, the
example of pure faith, who paid his debt in full, and
a strict monotheist who struggled with idol
worshipers.
Islam is said to be an expression of the religion of
Abraham, the friend of God;
and Abraham is considered a prototype of
Mohammed.
Islam has a genealogy from Adam to Mohammed.
It follows the line through Ishmael, and then from Kedar
and Nebaioth of Ishmael through about 28 generations to
Mohammed.
So in view of all this, we can say that what is said of Ishmael
in the Bible* applies to the bulk of Arab tribes.
*) The Arabs are also Abrahams seed and is included in the
the covenant – the right to possess Canaan
Muhammad – a “son” of Abraham
Islam
hijacked by
extremists
This man is not a representative
of the God of Islam – even if he say’s he is.
He is a son of “the father of lies.”
All religions have their
extremists
that are pure evil
and operate outside the
teachings of their official faith /
religion.
The Crusades were military campaigns
sanctioned by the Latin Roman Catholic
Church during the High Middle Ages and
Late Middle Ages.
In 1095 Pope Urban II proclaimed the First
Crusade with the stated goal of restoring
Christian access to holy places in and
near Jerusalem. This went on for 200 years.
It became a bloodbath where thousands
upon thousands of Muslims were killed.
Christianity have had their share of evil representatives:
Christian Jihad: The Crusades and killing in the Name of Christ
Christianity have had their share of evil representatives:
The catholic church burning dissidents at the stake
Estimated number: 100.000 to as many as 500.000
Christianity have had their share of evil representatives:
Hitler / the Nazi's killing Jews
Estimated number killed: 6 million+
This warped Aryan brand of
Christianity pertained
to a dominant race and
national culture. The Nazi's
combined a distorted and
exclusive (Aryan only)kind
of Christianity with old
European pagan occultism.
Of course this played into
the extreme anti-Semitism.
Some so-called Christians
can sometimes act
like morons…
They stare up evil and hate
in people around the world
“Jihad by the sword”
“Holy war”
- take place by “small” but
dangerous Muslim
extremist groups.
These people are evil – Satan inspired.
They have hijacked ISLAM.
They are not representatives of the God of Islam…
Al-Qaeda Flag
Osama
Bin Laden,
Terrorist
These people are not
representing “true Islam”
More moderate Muslims should speak up
against extremism.
But they risk being killed if they do.
(Just like Germans speaking up against
the Nazi's were killed)
Let’s say it again:
Islam Explained
By Dr. Amir M. Ali, Ph.D.
Does Islam Say: "Kill The Infidels"?
This is absolutely not true and it is quite easy to prove.
We know the Quran orders believers to fight in combat against those who are the
oppressors, aggressors and terrorists and those who are assaulting and killing the
innocent men, women and children. But it gives out clear orders - NOT to fight
against those who are not fighting against you – groups or individuals.
There is not such a meaning in the Quran, ordering or even permitting the
Muslims to ever attack innocent people whether they are Christians, Jews, or
any other faith for that matter.
Combat is only ordered against those who are attacking or killing the innocent
Muslims or fighting against the established Muslim state.
Scholars of Quran tell us the verses dealing with this topic are specific and
not intended to imply a general meaning for just anyone to decide to go around
combating non-Muslims
1
DEFENDING ISLAM AND THE COMMUNITY:
Allah declares in the Quran:
"To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to defend
themselves), because they are wronged - and verily, Allah is Most Powerful to
give them victory - (they are) those who have been expelled from their homes in
defiance of right - (for no cause) except that they say, 'Our Lord is Allah'..."
[Noble Quran 22:39-40]
The Quran permits fighting to defend the religion of Islam and the Muslims.
This permission includes fighting in self-defence and for the protection of family
and property.
The early Muslims fought many battles against their enemies under the leadership
of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) or his representatives. For
example, when the pagans of Quraysh brought armies against Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Muslims fought to defend their faith and
community [3]. The Quran adds:
"Fight in the cause of Allah against those who fight against you, but do not
transgress limits. Lo! Allah loves not aggressors. ...And fight them until
persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there
be no hostility except against transgressors." [Noble Quran 2:190, 193]
2
DEFENDING THROUGH PREEMPTIVE STRIKES:
Indeed, it is difficult to mobilize people to fight when they see no invaders in
their territory; however, those who are charged with responsibility see
dangers ahead of time and must provide leadership.
The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him), had the
responsibility to protect his people and the religion he established in Arabia.
Whenever he received intelligence reports about enemies gathering near his
borders he carried out pre-emptive strikes, broke their power and dispersed
them [6].
Allah ordered Muslims in the Quran:
"Fighting is prescribed upon you, and you dislike it. But it may happen that
you dislike a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you love a
thing which is bad for you. And Allah knows and you know not." [Noble
Quran 2:216]
3
What Does Islam Say about Terrorism?
The term "terrorism" does not exist in the Quran or the teachings of the Prophet
Muhammad. If the terms "terrorist or terrorism" are derived from a verb used in the
Quran, such as 5:33 describing a "Muslim's" terrorist acts, it is in condemnation and
prescribes most severe punishment.
Islam is a religion of mercy, unity and most importantly peace with one's self and
others, to defend not to fight.
Book the Quran:
"God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who
have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes, that
you should show them kindness and deal justly with them. God loves just dealers."
[Noble Quran 60:8]
"Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not begin aggression,
for God loves not aggressors." [Noble Quran 2:190]
"If they seek peace, then seek you peace and trust in God for He is the Hearer, the
Knower." [Noble Quran 8:61]
4
"But (remember that an attempt at) requiting evil may, too, become an evil: hence
whoever pardons (his foe) and makes peace, his reward rests with Allah- for, verily He
does not love transgressors." [Noble Quran 42:40]
"The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is
better, then lo! He between whom and thee there was enmity, (will become) as though
he was a bosom friend. [Noble Quran 41:34]
Some of the Prophet Muhammad's Teachings :(Sunnah)
He prohibited Muslim soldiers from killing women, children and the elderly and he
advised them, "do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a newborn child."
"The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of Judgment will be those
of bloodshed." Killing is the second major sin in Islam.
"There is a reward for kindness shown to every living human."
5
Differential treatment
Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy and forgiveness. If an individual
Muslim were to commit an act of terrorism, this person would be guilty of
violating the basic tenants of Islam.
When Timothy McVeigh bombed the Oklahoma City building, no American or
Christian was labeled as a terrorist or was the target of hate crimes. When
Irish Christians carry out acts of terrorism against each other and on the
British Isles, the Christian religion is not blamed but individuals or their
political agenda.
Unfortunately, the same is not true for American Muslims and Arabs. The vast
majority of Muslims or Arabs have no association with the violent events
around the world yet Islam is invoked with terrorism. It is unfair to 1.5 billion
Muslims of the world and religion of Islam.
6
"O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah's witnesses to fair dealing,
and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and
depart from justice. Be just: that is next to Piety and fear Allah.
And Allah is well acquainted with all that you do." [Noble Quran 5:8]
In conclusion, jihad in Islam is STRIVING IN THE WAY OF ALLAH by
pen, tongue, hand, media and, if inevitable, with arms. However, jihad in
Islam does not include striving for individual or national power,
dominance, glory, wealth, prestige or pride.
7
We can see these verse are not designed to promote terrorism, but rather these
are very orders from Above to the Muslims to be the first of those who stand
out aggressively against all forms of terrorism and oppression
Islamic Holy War? Muslims Killing Jews & Christians?
That is what we are told - by the western media. But what is the real truth
behind this word JIHAD?
Jihad Explained
by Dr. Amir Ali, Ph.D.
In the West, "jihad" is generally translated as "holy war," a usage the
media has popularized. According to Islamic teachings, it is UNHOLY to
instigate or start war;
8
Who is the God of Islam ?
The God of Islam –
the God they call Allah,
is the one and only God;
the God called Jehovah in Judaism
and God (three-in-one) in Christianity.
God has many names!
“There is no God but Him – I know not of any”
Isaiah 44:8
God – Allah ,
The God of Muhammad;
is love and peace,
Numerous Quran scriptures tell us so…
The God of Islam,
The God of Judaism
and the God of Christian Religion
all have one thing in common:
Their way to God and forgiveness
is through mans own works;
Do good – get good, do bad - get bad,
and pray often and confess regularly,
and you will (most likely) enter paradise.
All religions have many evil and unfaithful
representatives…
That does not make “the religion” evil…
Most of us are able to understand that.
True Christianity;
the way Jesus taught us;
the way Paul and the other apostles taught us,
is by believing (faith) in Jesus alone,
in his completed work, his death and resurrection.
We can not contribute to our own salvation
by doing “works”…
True Christianity is the gift of salvation
by Grace alone.
The Jews (Judaism)
don’t recognise Jesus as of any
importance:
In fact they chose to kill him for what he
said he was;
But still we love them
because God loves them…
Islam and Muhammad
(at least) recognised Jesus as a great
teacher and Prophet;
along with Moses and Abraham.
And God loves all one billion of them.
And so should we.
The Gospel tells us that
“Jesus is the only way to God”.
That is what we believe and preach…
And we preach it to every man and every religion;
to God fearing religious people
and to unbelievers alike…
They will change their opinion on Jesus
when they only get to meet him…
It helps to be informed about the facts…
Life long learning is good!
Sometimes it is good
to see things in a new way…
And then you make up you own mine!

  • 41. The English word "trinity" is derived from Latin trinitas, meaning "the number three, a triad". The first recorded use of this Greek word in Christian theology (although not about the Divine Trinity) was by Theophilus of Antioch in about 170 AD. The first Church Council of Nicaea (325 AD) said little about the Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the divinity and personality of the Holy Spirit was developed by Athanasius in the last decades of his life. He defended and refined the Nicene formula. By the end of the 4th century, under the leadership of Basil of Caesarea, Gregory of Nyssa, and Gregory of Nazianzus (the Cappadocian Fathers), the doctrine had reached substantially its current form. Some historical facts: The establishing of the “trinity” theology

What will also surprise the Christians is the fact that the Muslim does not speak the holy name of Jesus, in his own language, without saying Eesa, alaihi assalam. ("Jesus, peace be upon him) One persons answer: As Muslims we have no choice. We had said in many words: ” WE BELIEVE IN ONE CREATOR, WE BELIEVE IN ALL HIS PROPHETS, WE BELIEVE, THAT JESUS (peace be upon him) WAS ONE OF THE MIGHTIEST PROPHETS OF GOD, THAT HE WAS THE MESSIAH AS WELL AS THE WORD OF GOD, THAT HE WAS BORN MIRACULOUSLY- WITHOUT ANY MALE INTERVENTION (which many modern-day Christians do not believe today),THAT HE GAVE LIFE TO THE DEAD BY GOD’S PERMISSION, AND THAT HE HEALED THOSE BORN BLIND AND THE LEPERS BY GOD’S PERMISSION.” Yahoo Q and A: Do Muslims love Jesus?
  • 67. Judaism and Islam have some common roots. His name is Abraham. Father of both peoples…
  • 69. This is God’s promise regarding “the promised land”:
  • 70. Genesis 15:18-21 (KJV): In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
  • 71. “This is the land given to Abrahams seed”
  • 72. Notice one important detail: The land was given to Abrahams “seed”… As we know: Abraham had two sons – Isaac (the promise) and Ishmael ( the child with the bond woman)
  • 73. Hagar and Ismael had to leave the family
  • 74. Abraham blessing Ismael as he sends his “first seed” off into the dessert. And God also promised to bless Ismael. (Gen. 17:20)
  • 75. Genesis 17: 6 And I will make you exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your seed after you in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God to you, and to your seed after you. 8 And I will give to you, and to your seed after you, the land wherein you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan for an everlasting possession*; and I will be their God. 9 And God said to Abraham, You shall keep my covenant therefore, you, and your seed after you in their generations. 10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your seed after you; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. 13 He that is born in your house must be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant. 14 Any uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant. . (* But there were conditions – Deut. 28)
  • 76. 18 And Abraham said to God: O that Ishmael might live before you! 19 And God said, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son indeed; and you shall call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. 20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant will I establish with Isaac, which Sarah shall bear to you at this set time in the next year. 23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his house, and every male among the men of Abraham's house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in the selfsame day, as God had said to him. 25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin. 26 In the same day was Abraham circumcised and Ishmael his son. 27 And all the men of his house, born in the house were circumcised with him.
  • 77. • What did we just learn: • Genesis 17:21 makes it totally clear that God made a covenant with Isaac • Genesis 17:7 and 8 makes it equally clear that the covenant was with Abrahams seed • Ismael is as we know also Abrahams seed • Genesis 17:6 says all the land of Canaan is giving to Abrahams seed
  • 78. • Important: In Genesis 17:10 and 13 God makes it totally clear: • The covenant is between God, Abrahams seed and every man-child among you – those who are born in Abraham’s house • Abraham understand this and in Genesis 17:23 he circumcises – as instructed by God – Ismael and every other male
  • 79. • Preliminary conclusion: • From this it should be clear that Ismael – the Arab people – are included in God’s promise • to live in all the land of Canaan – also called the promised land, • together with their “brothers” from Isaac – the people of Israel
  • 80. Even common sense tells us that “this land” includes Arabs as well as Israel – it is already possessed by the “brother people” – Jews and Arabs – Judaism and Islam. Both religions springing out from the same “root”.
  • 81. A 1692 AD map of Canaan
  • 82. Abraham is clearly significant in the formation of Islam; he is found in 25 “chapters” of the Koran. He is a prophet, one who received revelation, the example of pure faith, who paid his debt in full, and a strict monotheist who struggled with idol worshipers. Islam is said to be an expression of the religion of Abraham, the friend of God; and Abraham is considered a prototype of Mohammed.
  • 83. Islam has a genealogy from Adam to Mohammed. It follows the line through Ishmael, and then from Kedar and Nebaioth of Ishmael through about 28 generations to Mohammed. So in view of all this, we can say that what is said of Ishmael in the Bible* applies to the bulk of Arab tribes. *) The Arabs are also Abrahams seed and is included in the the covenant – the right to possess Canaan
  • 84. Muhammad – a “son” of Abraham
  • 86. This man is not a representative of the God of Islam – even if he say’s he is. He is a son of “the father of lies.”

  • 88. The Crusades were military campaigns sanctioned by the Latin Roman Catholic Church during the High Middle Ages and Late Middle Ages. In 1095 Pope Urban II proclaimed the First Crusade with the stated goal of restoring Christian access to holy places in and near Jerusalem. This went on for 200 years. It became a bloodbath where thousands upon thousands of Muslims were killed. Christianity have had their share of evil representatives: Christian Jihad: The Crusades and killing in the Name of Christ

  • 102. Islam Explained By Dr. Amir M. Ali, Ph.D.
  • 103. Does Islam Say: "Kill The Infidels"? This is absolutely not true and it is quite easy to prove. We know the Quran orders believers to fight in combat against those who are the oppressors, aggressors and terrorists and those who are assaulting and killing the innocent men, women and children. But it gives out clear orders - NOT to fight against those who are not fighting against you – groups or individuals. There is not such a meaning in the Quran, ordering or even permitting the Muslims to ever attack innocent people whether they are Christians, Jews, or any other faith for that matter. Combat is only ordered against those who are attacking or killing the innocent Muslims or fighting against the established Muslim state. Scholars of Quran tell us the verses dealing with this topic are specific and not intended to imply a general meaning for just anyone to decide to go around combating non-Muslims 1
  • 104. DEFENDING ISLAM AND THE COMMUNITY: Allah declares in the Quran: "To those against whom war is made, permission is given (to defend themselves), because they are wronged - and verily, Allah is Most Powerful to give them victory - (they are) those who have been expelled from their homes in defiance of right - (for no cause) except that they say, 'Our Lord is Allah'..." [Noble Quran 22:39-40] The Quran permits fighting to defend the religion of Islam and the Muslims. This permission includes fighting in self-defence and for the protection of family and property. The early Muslims fought many battles against their enemies under the leadership of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) or his representatives. For example, when the pagans of Quraysh brought armies against Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Muslims fought to defend their faith and community [3]. The Quran adds: "Fight in the cause of Allah against those who fight against you, but do not transgress limits. Lo! Allah loves not aggressors. ...And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is for Allah. But if they desist, then let there be no hostility except against transgressors." [Noble Quran 2:190, 193] 2
  • 105. DEFENDING THROUGH PREEMPTIVE STRIKES: Indeed, it is difficult to mobilize people to fight when they see no invaders in their territory; however, those who are charged with responsibility see dangers ahead of time and must provide leadership. The Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him), had the responsibility to protect his people and the religion he established in Arabia. Whenever he received intelligence reports about enemies gathering near his borders he carried out pre-emptive strikes, broke their power and dispersed them [6]. Allah ordered Muslims in the Quran: "Fighting is prescribed upon you, and you dislike it. But it may happen that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and it may happen that you love a thing which is bad for you. And Allah knows and you know not." [Noble Quran 2:216] 3
  • 106. What Does Islam Say about Terrorism? The term "terrorism" does not exist in the Quran or the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad. If the terms "terrorist or terrorism" are derived from a verb used in the Quran, such as 5:33 describing a "Muslim's" terrorist acts, it is in condemnation and prescribes most severe punishment. Islam is a religion of mercy, unity and most importantly peace with one's self and others, to defend not to fight. Book the Quran: "God does not forbid you from showing kindness and dealing justly with those who have not fought you about religion and have not driven you out of your homes, that you should show them kindness and deal justly with them. God loves just dealers." [Noble Quran 60:8] "Fight in the cause of God against those who fight you, but do not begin aggression, for God loves not aggressors." [Noble Quran 2:190] "If they seek peace, then seek you peace and trust in God for He is the Hearer, the Knower." [Noble Quran 8:61] 4
  • 107. "But (remember that an attempt at) requiting evil may, too, become an evil: hence whoever pardons (his foe) and makes peace, his reward rests with Allah- for, verily He does not love transgressors." [Noble Quran 42:40] "The good deed and the evil deed are not alike. Repel the evil deed with one which is better, then lo! He between whom and thee there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a bosom friend. [Noble Quran 41:34] Some of the Prophet Muhammad's Teachings :(Sunnah) He prohibited Muslim soldiers from killing women, children and the elderly and he advised them, "do not betray, do not be excessive, do not kill a newborn child." "The first cases to be adjudicated between people on the Day of Judgment will be those of bloodshed." Killing is the second major sin in Islam. "There is a reward for kindness shown to every living human." 5
  • 108. Differential treatment Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy and forgiveness. If an individual Muslim were to commit an act of terrorism, this person would be guilty of violating the basic tenants of Islam. When Timothy McVeigh bombed the Oklahoma City building, no American or Christian was labeled as a terrorist or was the target of hate crimes. When Irish Christians carry out acts of terrorism against each other and on the British Isles, the Christian religion is not blamed but individuals or their political agenda. Unfortunately, the same is not true for American Muslims and Arabs. The vast majority of Muslims or Arabs have no association with the violent events around the world yet Islam is invoked with terrorism. It is unfair to 1.5 billion Muslims of the world and religion of Islam. 6
  • 109. "O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah's witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to Piety and fear Allah. And Allah is well acquainted with all that you do." [Noble Quran 5:8] In conclusion, jihad in Islam is STRIVING IN THE WAY OF ALLAH by pen, tongue, hand, media and, if inevitable, with arms. However, jihad in Islam does not include striving for individual or national power, dominance, glory, wealth, prestige or pride. 7
  • 110. We can see these verse are not designed to promote terrorism, but rather these are very orders from Above to the Muslims to be the first of those who stand out aggressively against all forms of terrorism and oppression Islamic Holy War? Muslims Killing Jews & Christians? That is what we are told - by the western media. But what is the real truth behind this word JIHAD? Jihad Explained by Dr. Amir Ali, Ph.D. In the West, "jihad" is generally translated as "holy war," a usage the media has popularized. According to Islamic teachings, it is UNHOLY to instigate or start war; 8

  • 113. The God of Islam – the God they call Allah, is the one and only God; the God called Jehovah in Judaism and God (three-in-one) in Christianity.

  • 115. God – Allah , The God of Muhammad; is love and peace, Numerous Quran scriptures tell us so…
  • 116. The God of Islam, The God of Judaism and the God of Christian Religion all have one thing in common: Their way to God and forgiveness is through mans own works; Do good – get good, do bad - get bad, and pray often and confess regularly, and you will (most likely) enter paradise.
  • 117. All religions have many evil and unfaithful representatives… That does not make “the religion” evil… Most of us are able to understand that.
  • 118. True Christianity; the way Jesus taught us; the way Paul and the other apostles taught us, is by believing (faith) in Jesus alone, in his completed work, his death and resurrection. We can not contribute to our own salvation by doing “works”… True Christianity is the gift of salvation by Grace alone.
  • 119. The Jews (Judaism) don’t recognise Jesus as of any importance: In fact they chose to kill him for what he said he was; But still we love them because God loves them…
  • 120. Islam and Muhammad (at least) recognised Jesus as a great teacher and Prophet; along with Moses and Abraham. And God loves all one billion of them. And so should we.
  • 121. The Gospel tells us that “Jesus is the only way to God”. That is what we believe and preach… And we preach it to every man and every religion; to God fearing religious people and to unbelievers alike… They will change their opinion on Jesus when they only get to meet him…
