INTRODUCTORY RITES
COMMENTATOR: As we reached out for our diplomas today, we had reached the end
of one chapter of our lives. As we stepped out the gates of our Alma
Mater, COMPOSTELA VALLEY STATE COLLEGE, we carry on our
dreams and goals as we fulfill each one of them, soaring high as we face
a new world. The values and skills that we had acquired in this
institution will forever mold us to become better Christians lived up by
the Word of God as we fully become simple and Jesus-centered achiever
who is always available to serve. Now, with deep gratitude to the Lord,
who bestowed us all these blessings that we obtain today, let us honor
Him as we rise and sing together our hymn of praise together with our
celebrant Rev. Fr. Kim A. Muñez, our Parish Priest, please rise for the
Entrance Hymn.

PRIEST: Coming together as Gods family, with confidence let us ask the Fathers
forgiveness, for he is full of gentleness and compassion.

PROFESSION OF FAITH
COMMENTATOR: Please stand for the prayers of the faithful.
ALL: I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of
all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of
the Father before all ages.God from God, Light from Light, true God from
true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through
him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came
down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin
Mary and became man.

For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death
and was buries, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the
Scriptures.He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of
the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living snd the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from
the Father and Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and
glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one
Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection
of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

(2) Flowers:The beauty of creation is symbolized by these flowers which
we offer to you, Lord. May they always remind us of the beauty of your

received from you, O Lord. We offer them back to you as an expression of

success symbolize the material blessings you continually shower on us,

(4) Bread and Wine: Lord, your Son Jesus offered his body that was
broken into pieces that the people on would be nourished by his
unending love. His blood was poured for all that our sins will be forgiven.
We offer this bread and this wine as signs of out remembrance of Pascal
Mystery of Jesus. May they remind us to live a fellowship of love and
constant service. Lord, may this offering we make be acceptable.
(5) Gifts: These gifts symbolize the abundance of the blessings we
received from you, O Lord. We offer them back to you as an expression of
our gratitude and love as well as our generosity to give ourselves in the
service of others. Lord, may this offering we make be acceptable to you.

human gifts, may dedicate themselves to you and the people, with
unfailing generosityand love. Lord, we ask you to bless these diplomas,
medals, certificates, and other symbols fruits of the many years of labor.
Bless also the Graduates who will receive and wear them. Grant them
with unbroken loyalty to Your Son Jesus Christ whom the Compostela
Valley State College taught them to love and serve. Continue to bless
