4. Desserts German desserts are a lot of cakes and tarts. However they contain a lot of fresh fruits. Cheesecake is also a popular dessert that is served in Germany. One of the most famous cakes that is made in Germany is the black forest cake. The back forest cake is named after the mountain range in south Germany.
5. Drinks The most common drink in Germany is beer. Germany is filled with wineries and breweries, so most pubs have a local beer or wine on tap. Certain beers in Germany are very regional depending on there breweries. Korn is another popular drink in Germany, it’s from malt. Some places in Germany beer is ordered with a shot of korn. The opposite of that is obstler which is made from apples and pears. Popular soft drinks found in Germany are spezi, which is a cola and orange flavouring put together.
