Senegal Dairy Genetics:
Building capacity of young
scientists and stakeholders in dairy
The Senegal Dairy Genetics project is building the capacity of
young scientists from within and outside Africa,
as well as stakeholders in Senegal dairy including
men and women dairy farmers, input service providers,
extension agents, educators and policy makers.
This capacity building will ensure the project’s impact will
continues well beyond the project’s life.
This poster is part of the FoodAfrica Programme, financed as a research collaboration
between the MFA of Finland, MTT Agrifood Research Finland, IFPRI, ILRI, ICRAF,
Bioversity International, University of Helsinki and HAMK University of Applied Sciences
