4. Emergency transport assistance
(ambulance) service
In the Wakiso area, we are planning a service of emergency transportation support
(ambulance) in a low price range to women in labor (especially pregnant women)
and victims involved in the accident.
Currently, we are proposing partnership with the Japan Diplomatic Association to
secure one immediate ambulance.
※ Ultimately, we are thinking that we can apply to GGP so that we can expand this
emergency support service to other areas of Uganda in the near future.
5. Hygiene activities
1. We provide community support for sanitation projects.
2. We collaborate with local hospitals and health associations to deepen the
understanding of health and improve hygiene in communities.
3. In some areas, by actually carrying out the cleaning activities, we are explaining
the importance of health promoted by “Sanitation is Key“ to the community.
6. Educational support
1. We provide scholastic materials (school books, pens, pencils, etc.) necessary for
school to orphaned kids in Samanya Orphanage School in Rakai.
2. We support high education. Two children have become able to receive higher
levels of education; one attaining a certificate in Cosmetology in 2016 and now is
running a beauty Salon in Rakai town, and another male student got a scholarship
from 'Ashinaga', he will be attending Yamanashi Gakuin University from this fall.

7. Scholarship Scheme
As a new measure, we are currently implementing a scholarship scheme for high
school students and kindergarten kids. We are devoting support to students who can
not go to school because their families are poor.
Currently, we have five students on this scheme and three partner schools, but we
will strive to expand further.
We are also promoting a partnership with Kampala Kids School, and we are
assuming that we will make a scholarship scheme for children of poor families
(kindergarten kids) from next year.
8. Our stance
• Our success so far is defined by partnerships with other
NGOs and institutions. We are therefore ready and willing to
expand our networks and partner with JCI in anyway possible
so that we can reach out more needy groups.
