12(1) and The Plant Protection Act of 1997
section 14(a) explains on the points of entry.

substances exported or imported in the mainland
of Tanzania shall be confined to entry points such
as airports, harbour and overland border entry

explains on the importation of pesticides in
Tanzania, that people importing pesticides should
have permits and paying cess of 0.5% of the fob
value of the pesticide to be imported

quarantine procedures before they are imported
to Tanzania.
