pharmacy, engineering, sciences or law, all
admissions are made only on the basis of
merit through an all-India admission test
popularly known as Glocal Admission Test
(GAT).

most prestigious entrance
examinations of India at par with other
Pan-India entrance examinations of
similar field.
• It creates a challenge before students
to bring out their A-game. The
question paper, designed by the
leading experts in their field aims to
test their verbal, numerical, general
knowledge, reasoning, legal aptitude
etc., depending on the requirement of
course applied for.
• It is therefore not just an entrance
examination, but a key that opens
doors to a global career.
4. • Today, Glocal University is emerging as one of the leading
institutions of higher learning in Northern India and this test
is a reaffirmation of our commitment to ensure transparency
and fairness along with merit in the process of admission.

5. • As the number of Glocal aspirants are growing every year, University has decided to conduct
GAT on 28 centres in 13 states across India.
• GAT is open to all candidates subject to fulfilling of minimum eligibility requirements i.e. 50%
aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in 10+2 or equivalent examinations.
• Candidates awaiting results can also appear for the test on the condition that they will produce
proof of having passed the qualifying examination with the prescribed marks at the time of
admission.
• Foreign nationals and Non Resident Indians (NRIs) may get direct admission subject to
fulfilment of prescribed minimum qualifications.
• Note :
• All disputes pertaining to the conduct of GAT-2015 shall fall within the
jurisdiction of Saharanpur only. If any person or officer engages himself/herself in
act(s) that would result in the leakage of the question paper(s) or attempt to use or
help in the use of unfair means in this Examination, he/she shall be liable to
prosecution under the Indian Penal Code.
