Now a days, blogs play an important role in e-learning
practices:
 They will motivate students
 They can be used as a mean for discussion (among students
and teacher)
 It will make the situation for autonomous learning
 Blogs can be used easily, so it is a proper option for
students and teachers
 They allow publishing (Teachers can publish their new
resources)
 You will have access to a large group of student
 Information is accessible anytime and anywhere
 Teacher can add new assignments in a few minutes
 Even parents can be up to date on events
 It will increase the creativity and innovation
 Students are able to write comments for each other
How about microblogs?
 Teacher can make a discussion group
 Everybody can use hashtags in order to make subjects starred
 Students can make direct comments
 It can be used for managing tasks
 Each student (even shy students) will be volunteer easily
 It will increase user interaction for sharing lessons
 Students can share lesson-related texts even after the time of classes
 Related researches and links can be easily shared for further studies
 Learning can take place every where and anytime
 Students in far places can join the class
