• Approach is composed of ten steps:
• Identify goal – needs assessment
• Instructional analysis – determine the skills and knowledge required for the goal
• Analyze learner – in terms of skills, attitudes, prior knowledge, and motivation
• Design Objective – writing performance specifying the skills, conditions for learning
• Assessment – development instruments
• Presenting Strategy – instructional strategy for testing, and learning activity
• Develop and Produce Instructions – strategy established
• Data Evaluation – formative evaluation
• Revised Lesson – using the collected information from the evaluation, analysis, objective
• Summative – evaluation of the success of the instruction
