Baltimore Sun, June 17 UM Team Wins Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Event "The University of Maryland says a team of engineering students (Clark School, Computer, Mathematical & Physical Sciences) at its College Park campus has won an underwater robot competition in San Diego. The underwater vehicle built by the team competed against 25 others from across the United States, India, Canada and Japan. The Maryland team won the competition in only its second year of participation.
