The social media plan was a coordinated effort in the promotion and engagement of the Emerging Young Leaders via Facebook,
Twitter, YouTube Instagram and LinkedIn social channels. The #EYLeaders hashtag reached over 14K impressions over a 30
days. The outreach offered the Awardees a way to use social media to elevate their efforts to the U.S. online audience as well as

Legacy International - U.S. State Department Emerging Young Leaders
17. NSBE #BLACKSTEMLIKEME
In a partnership between NSBE (National Society of Black
Engineers) and the United States Air Force, launched the
“Black STEM Like Me” social media campaign. The
campaign focused on African American leaders and experts.
The goal was to encourage college-age students to choose a
profession in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and
math) and to look at the U.S. Air Force as a career option. The
target audience was young African American students (18-24
years) attending universities and colleges. The emphasis was
on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and
STEM students.

Kennedy originated the idea for VISTA, founded as

Was the Executive Producer for The Voice on RLTV. RLTV
is the only network specifically targeting people over 50.
Our programming, from news to entertainment, was
created for knowledgeable, experienced adults who
understand the importance of television. As an EP for The
Voice, I developed, designed, and oversaw all production
aspects of The Voice, a nationally syndicated talk-show for
RL TV.
