Cristina Maria Ivan is from Constanța, Romania and is traveling to Italy for a Eurodidacourse from August 6-10, 2012. Constanța is an important cultural and economic center in Romania as well as its largest sea port, originally called Tomis. Some landmarks in Constanța include statues of Ovidius Publius Naso and Mihai Eminescu in Ovidiu Square, the Casino, Aquarium, National History and Archeology Museum, and Romanian Navy Museum. Cristina teaches Romanian Language and Literature at the International Computer High School of Constanța, which prepares students for college and careers under the motto of "Free Spirit of Thinking and Action."

Ferrari in 1887, the statue
dedicated to the Roman poet,

to the square, Ovidiu's
Square. Emperor Augustus
exiled Ovidiu to Tomis in 8 AD.
