OF
MANAGERS
Managers do’s
 Project Induction to the new joiner on the day of joining.
 Approvals of leave and request
 Designing KRA’s
 Designing of Training Need Identification
 Providing monthly Internal Training Calendar to HR
 Introduce new initiatives
 Supervise and manage the overall performance of team members in the
department.
 Analyzing, reporting, giving recommendations and developing strategies on how to
improve quality and quantity.
 Involved in employee selection, career development, succession planning and
training.
Managers do’s
 Identifying problems, creating choices and providing alternatives courses of actions.
 Responsible for the growth and increase in the organizations' finances and earnings.
 To ensure the punctuality and regular attendance of the staff.
 To appraise the performance of the Individual team member in a timely and fair
manner
 To help the HR to plan and implement innovative programmes
 Documentation of every work done individual Team member
 Provide inputs in Quarterly reviews of every individual team member
 Manager is SPOC for any issues related with work area and individual Team member
 Managers are responsible for answering each and every mail by
employee/client/vendor within 48 hrs. of receiving mail. And in case of outstation
within 72 hrs. manager has to respond over the mail.
Managers Don’ts
 Do not work in isolation; be aware of your surroundings and set yourself well with it
 Do not too casual with your team members.
 Do not underestimate your team’s potential.
 Do not shy away from giving negative feedback.
 Do not be dictators; instead, engage your team
 Do not play favourites
 Do not settle for quick fix solutions to problems
 Do not hesitate to question the status quo
 Do not ignore early warning signals for the process. Always keep your eyes and ears
open to check the changes going on floor.
