7. Raise awareness
We make every impression as influential as the
first. Healthcare professionals have no time
to lose. Given the intensity of their schedules,
competition for their attention is fierce. It takes
an extraordinary understanding of their interests
and habits to build strong, positive associations
with brands and products.
The activities in our awareness programmes
are built around the most compelling subject
matter, deployed in the most relevant context.
Nothing is wasted. Every placement builds
your profile and reputation with healthcare
professionals primed to value your offering.

9. Engagement
Content that gets your audience talking. To
engage and educate healthcare professionals –
and make sure they come back for more – you
need truly outstanding content placed where
healthcare professionals actively seek solutions.
To earn their ongoing attention, your content
must be recognised as highly relevant.
Our content marketing programmes align
the timing, targeting and substance of your
communications seamlessly with our audience’s
interests. We can create bespoke content for you
and ensure it reaches the community exactly
when they are most receptive.
Continuing Professional Development
(CPD) zones
Healthcare professionals frequently visit these
community hubs to learn new skills and deepen
their expertise, making CPD zones ideal places for
you to engage with them. We can craft valuable,
original content meeting CPD requirements on
specific subject areas depending on your needs.
Branded insight reports
We can develop branded or sponsored reports
based on insight-led activities such as roundtables
or other research-based activities. The reports
you choose are widely distributed across our
media channels to generate the most impact and
engagement.

Take advantage of speaking opportunities at
any of our 65 annual events and connect directly
with the many communities who know and trust
Cogora brands.
Engaging content
We can create compelling, audience-specific
content designed to support any requirements

based on years of developing content for our

10. Market insight
To change or perpetuate current buyer behaviour,
you need to know how your target audience
thinks, what influences them, where they go
for information and how they buy. Our deep
community connections and research show that
healthcare professionals purchase, prescribe and
recommend products based on variables that can
be tracked and measured. We take the mystery
out of buyer behaviour and offer a range of
research-based activities, fine-tuned to generate
these critical insights.
Quantative research for instant
intelligence
We gather high-level insights for you by surveying
our community database of 220,000 healthcare
professionals. Surveys are developed and the
results evaluated in close consultation with you
to ensure effective targeting and purposeful
analysis.
Understand your market
When you need to explore a specific question or
issue, we customise research activities applying
both qualitative and quantitative techniques
to generate a complete picture of your buyers’
motivations and actions.
Roundtable sessions for deeper dives
We hold day-long roundtable discussions with key
influencers to tap into buyer behaviours first hand
and generate actionable insights.

11. Our communities
Cogora is an integrated media and marketing
services company that sits at the heart of a
community of highly-engaged healthcare
professionals.
Primary and Community Care Nurses
Practice nurses work in GP surgeries as part of
the primary healthcare team. In larger practices,
there may be several practice nurses sharing
duties and responsibilities while in others, they
might be work on their own, taking on many roles.
Commissioners
‘Commissioners’ include Clinical Commissioning
Group (CCG) board members, CSU personnel,
NHS England staff and Health and Wellbeing
Board members.
CCGs are (predominantly) groups of GPs
that are responsible for planning and designing
local health services in England. They do this
by ‘commissioning’ or buying health and care
services including:
• Planned hospital care
• Urgent and emergency care
• Rehabilitation care
• Community health services
• Mental health and learning disability services
They are overseen by NHS England at a
national level. NHS England is a new body that
ensures that Clinical Commissioning groups
have the capacity and capability to successfully
commission services for their local population.
NHS England will also ensure that the Clinical
Commissioning Groups meet their financial
responsibilities.
At a local level, new Health and Wellbeing
Boards have been set up in Local Authorities
to ensure that CCGs meet the needs of local
people. Health and Wellbeing Boards will bring
together clinical commissioning groups and the
local councils to understand the health, social and
wellbeing needs of its community.
Hospital Pharmacists
Practice Managers
Hospital Managers
Practice Managers deliver both day-to-day
management as well as a strategic guidance, for
one or more partner medical practices. The exact
qualifications and experience required can vary,
but a management qualification is common,
along with a proven experience of motivating
people.
Our Hospital Healthcare Europe community
includes the Chief Executives and
Departmental Directors of private sector hospitals
in the UK and European Union. Specifically, this
community includes: Chief Information Officers,
Facilities Directors, Chief Radiologists, Chief
Cardiologists, Clinical Nursing Directors, Chief
Pathologists, Chief Pharmacists, Formulary
Directors and Chief Surgeons.
Hospital Pharmacists are experts in the field of
medicines.. They work closely with medical and
nursing staff on the wards to ensure patients
receive the most appropriate treatments, and
provide help and advice to patients in all aspects
of their medicines. They advise on the selection
of medicines as well as the dose and route of
administration for individual patients, and many
are qualified to prescribe in their own right. They
provide information about potential side effects
and ensure that new medicines are compatible
with any existing medication. In addition, they
will often monitor the effects of treatment to
ensure that it is safe and effective.
