With the implementation of the ERP, Vendor Consigned and Vendor Managed processes enabled us to consolidate our Purchasing and our Program Management teams (8 headcount to 4 concurrent to 4x spend increase. The result was an increased accountability and customer advocacy, and subsequently improved our customer satisfaction scores. • Evaluated chose and implemented a fully integrated Shop Floor Management software system. Acting as the management advocate for the implementation, I built an implementation team responsible for training staff and establishing the processes for system operation. The implementation of this system increased productivity through the development and refinement of existing processes eliminating activities that had no or limited value. • Built an ERP overlay that reduced the Company’s Cash-to-Cash cycle to 68 days from over 100 days by better aligning Customer Orders to JIT inventory receipts. Acting as the management advocate for the implementation, I built an implementation team responsible for training staff and established the processes for system operation. • For AS9100 and ISO9000 quality system certifications led a team that developed and implemented all of the necessary SOPs and Work Instructions required for certification. • Established a continuous improvement strategy, utilizing data outputs from the Quality Management software to trend customer complaints and in process rejections. Identifying and prioritizing the process issues having the greatest impact on quality reduced customer returns to less the .05% and an overall reduction of scrap and rework cost.
