Professional Accomplishments
Management
• Managed multi plant operations responsible for up to 225 headcount in production,
material handling, quality, process engineering and test engineering supporting
company sales of $30+ million.
• Routinely interfaced with business development, sales and new product development
to ensure that capital and manufacturing expense plans for each manufacturing facility
that would meet company objectives. I managed equipment selection, negotiated
costs and implemented approved capital investments ($350,000 to $1.2 million
annually).
• Developed annual goals and tracking matrix for direct and sub-tier reports. Led direct
reports and developed operational processes that achieved metrics goals (95% OTD;
99.5% first pass yield and continuous improvement of $ sales/headcount).
• Recommended and implemented plant consolidations from improved manufacturing
efficiencies without any Customer disruptions and captured significant cost savings
($1.9 million annualized).
• Developed quality and customer satisfaction matrix, continually monitored, and
reported results to senior management team along with the continuous improvement
team.
• Established a quality management strategy and implementation team that led to
acquiring an ISO9000:001 certification.

Operations:
• Evaluated chose and implemented a fully integrated ERP software system. Acting as
the management advocate for the implementation, I built an implementation team
responsible for training staff and establishing the processes for system operation.
• Lead the development and implementation of vendor managed and consignment
2. inventory programs that integrated key suppliers with the ERP system, allowing them
access to MRP information enabling them to implement long-term material planning
strategies in order to meet one week inventory replenishment goals and reduce the
company’s balance sheet inventory investment by over $3 million. With the
implementation of the ERP, Vendor Consigned and Vendor Managed processes
enabled us to consolidate our Purchasing and our Program Management teams (8
headcount to 4 concurrent to 4x spend increase. The result was an increased
accountability and customer advocacy, and subsequently improved our customer
satisfaction scores.
• Evaluated chose and implemented a fully integrated Shop Floor Management software
system. Acting as the management advocate for the implementation, I built an
implementation team responsible for training staff and establishing the processes for
system operation. The implementation of this system increased productivity through
the development and refinement of existing processes eliminating activities that had
no or limited value.
• Built an ERP overlay that reduced the Company’s Cash-to-Cash cycle to 68 days from
over 100 days by better aligning Customer Orders to JIT inventory receipts.
Quality Control
• Evaluated chose and implemented a fully integrated Quality Management software
system. Acting as the management advocate for the implementation, I built an
implementation team responsible for training staff and established the processes for
system operation.
• For AS9100 and ISO9000 quality system certifications led a team that developed and
implemented all of the necessary SOPs and Work Instructions required for
certification.
• Established a continuous improvement strategy, utilizing data outputs from the Quality
Management software to trend customer complaints and in process rejections.
Identifying and prioritizing the process issues having the greatest impact on quality
reduced customer returns to less the .05% and an overall reduction of scrap and
rework cost.
