3. Introduction
This project aims to develop a barcode-based attendance
application for educational institutions.
4. Technology & Modules used
The core technology used in this system is barcode scanning.
The system will use cloud-based technology
using API(Application Programming Interface) technology.
5. Front End
Front-end will be a simple Android Application. Which will be
a user-friendly design. With all the details in it.
6. Back End
Back-end will be Air Table. We will be using it
as our primary database to complete this
project. And Firebase for Authentication and
Version Control.
7. Advantages:
Reduce Workload :(The barcode-based attendance system will automate
the attendance management process, reducing administrative workload
for educators)
Provide Real-time update:(The system will provide real-time updates on
student attendance, making it easier to identify absentees and track
attendance patterns)
Provide Unique Barcode:( The use of unique barcodes assigned to
students will ensure accurate attendance tracking and reduce errors)
Generate Report&Analyse:( The system will generate reports and
analytics which will help educators to identify the areas where students are
facing difficulties)
8. Disadvantages:
Need a Trainer:(The implementation of the barcode-based attendance
system may require a significant initial investment in terms of hardware,
software and training)
Network issue:( The system may be reliant on a stable internet
connection, which could cause issues if connectivity is poor or unavailable)
