2. The project
An interactive garden map,
which enables the user to
take a tour around the
grounds of the National
Centre with a focus on four
different topics:–
• Therapy
• History
• Plants
• Animals
3. Securing pro-bono work
Pro-bono work is voluntary work that will enable the person or company
donating their time to use some of their sector skills for the benefit of the
wider community (often a charity).
Alongside regular, dedicated volunteers, we use pro-bono support to help
deliver digital and one-off design projects.
Great ways to secure pro-bono work:
- Horizon scanning on social media channels:
- Twitter
- Facebook
- LinkedIn
- Posting ads on professional volunteer websites:
- Reach Volunteering
- Helpful Peeps
- Asking people directly/networking
7. Kicking off the project
Start with a conversation…
- Who holds the knowledge about the content needed for this project?
- Who holds the power to approve the project?
- Who needs empowering into supporting the project?
- What roles will each person involved in the project play?
