4. Theory of
Special
Relativity
• Postulate 1 (principle of relativity)
All laws of physics are the same in all inertial
reference frames.1
• Postulate 2 (Constancy of the speed of light)
The speed of light in a vacuum has the same value
in inertial systems.2

5. The Light Clock – The Twin
Paradox
Light clock consists of 2 pairs of parallel mirrors that reflect each other horizontally.
One is at rest, the other is moving very fast.

7. The Principle of Equivalence
An inertial reference frame in a uniform
gravitational field is physically equivalent to a
reference frame, in the absence of a gravitational
field that is experiencing a constant acceleration.3

9. Two Concepts of
Quantum Mechanics
1) Every small bit of matter or energy can
behave as if were either a particle or a
wave 6
2) Certain combinations of properties such
as position and velocity, and energy and
time, can't be known with arbitrary
precision. 7

11. Black Holes
What s a Black Hole?
Is a gravitational field formed from stars or other massive objects if and when they
collapse from their own gravity to form an object whose density is infinite:
Singularity.6
Gravity is so intense that even light cannot escape the gravitational field (hence
the name (black hole).
In a study published early in 2010, Poplawski said when the density of matter
reaches epic proportions, torsion counters gravity. This prevents matter from
compressing indefinitely to a singularity of infinite density. Instead, matter
rebounds like a spring, and starts expanding again7.

13. The Einstein-Rosen
Bridge/Worm Hole
Einstein-Rosen bridge is a geometrical
property of a black hole that manifests itself
on the other side of the black hole. Another
set of dimensions has been attached to the
one from our universe. This makes passage
through this bridge and hence into another
universe a mathematical possibility.
