Acquisition of E3 Services Conseils:
Sia Partners becomes a major player in the management
consulting industry in Montreal and strengthens its North
American presence
Sia Partners, leader of independent consulting companies in France, announces the acquisition of E3
Services Conseils ("E3"), a management consulting firm composed of 40 consultants based in Montreal.
Founded in 2006, E3 supports 60 public and private stakeholders in the implementation of their strategy
and transformation projects. E3 operates primarily in the banking, insurance, energy, telecommunications
and media, and public sector and generates revenues in excess of CAN $ 7.5 million.
By merging E3 with Sia Partners’ Montreal entity, Sia Partners will become a major player in the
consultancy industry in the region with nearly 50 consultants. This transaction also reinforces its position
as one of the leading consultancy firms in French speaking markets. Sia Partners is present in France,
Belgium, Morocco and Luxembourg.
The founding partners of E3, Pierre Paquin, Marco Savoie and Gilles Tanghe will be part of the
management team of Sia Partners in Canada. "This is a natural fit for two independent consulting firms
that share entrepreneurial values. Thanks to our solid portfolio of clients in the Montréal market combined
with the sectorial expertise of Sia Partners, we are aiming for 15 million Canadian dollars in sales over the
next three years. Our ambition is to become a market leader in Quebec and begin a new stage of
development in Ontario, " comments Pierre Paquin. "The international dimension of Sia Partners is also a

The acquisition of E3 is part of Sia Partners' strategy to strengthen its North American operations, where
the Group has been present in the United States since 2012 and in Canada since 2014. Sia Partners has
close to 150 consultants spread over its four offices in New York, Charlotte, Houston, and Montreal. "This
acquisition represents one of our ambitions for 2020: to achieve a critical size in the 15 markets where we
operate today. This merger will also enable Sia Partners to develop its innovative approach to Consulting
4.0 in Canada, primarily because Montreal is one of the most important places in the world in terms of
artificial intelligence. Furthermore, recruiting talent for both our Montreal office and the rest of the group is

MATTHIEU COURTECUISSE
Matthieu Courtecuisse, 44, co-founded Sia Partners in 1999 after an early career at the World Bank
dedicated to financing issues in new technologies in West Africa. He is currently coordinating Sia Partners'
international partner team to define and implement the company's strategy. He graduated from ENSAE
Paris Tech.
PIERRE PAQUIN
Pierre Paquin is a founding partner of E3 Services Conseils. For over twenty years, he has worked with
many private and public organizations on their transformation projects and has held management
positions with several Canadian consulting firms.
MARCO SAVOIE
Marco Savoie is a founding partner of E3 Services Conseils. He has been involved in management
consulting and information technology for thirty years as a senior advisor, manager and administrator.
GILLES TANGHE
Gilles Tanghe is a founding partner of E3 Services Conseils. He works in management consulting and
information technology for a variety of large clients and has been involved in the management of several
Canadian consulting firms.
