2. Mobile computing
Mobile computing is a technology that allows
transmission of data via computer, without
having to be connected to a fixed physical link.
Mobile voice communication and data
communication is widely established
throughout the world rapidly for sending and
receiving data across the cellular network. It
allows users to transmit data from remote
locations to other remote location.
3. History of computing devices
When we talk about the evaluation of mobile computing. It
was being used from two way radios that uses large
antennas to communicate simple messages to three inch
personal computers that can do almost everything a regular
computer does. This actually means radio transmitters that
operated on a stable base, usually with the help of large
antennas. Two way radios used by police officers were also
considered as mobile technology. But now, people can
connect wirelessly to the internet or a private network
almost anywhere. Hence, these gave more importance to
the mobile computing devices.
The below table gives the informations about
the computing devices of their decades.

5. Working mechanism of mobile computing
1. A radio frequency element handles power sourcing and
other proprietary telecom technology sends outgoing sig
-nals and recieves incoming signal from a 3G or 4G wirel
-ess network.
2. The wireless network carry the data where it needs to go.
Simply, data was routed through cell towers in a particul
-ar provider physical network to another users phone.
3. With modern mobile computing , data is also often deliv-
ered onto the internet via the providers telecom network.
The working process of it are shown below with the help of video
7. Some advantages of mobile computing devices are highlighted below
1.Portability: Facilitates the movement of devices within the mobile
computing devices.
2.Connectivity: they have ability to be connected continuously with
minimum amount of lag/downtime, without being affected by move
-ments of the connected nodes.
3.Social interactivity: Maintaining the connectivity to collaborate with
other users , at least within the same environment.
4.Individuality: Mobile computing devices are even useful for an indi
-viduals.It fulfills the needs of an individual.
8. Although there are various advantages in favor of mobile computing
but there are some disadvantages of it . They are explained below
1.Security standards: When working with mobile devices one has to
dependent on public networks, requiring careful
use of VPN. Security is the major concern while
using a devices, one can easily attack the VPN
through a huge interconnected networks.
2.Power consumption: When a power outlet or a portable generator is
not available a devices goes on low battery life.
hence required frequent power re-charge.
3.Potential health hazards: People who uses mobile devices are being
dying from some radiations which is comin
-g from those devices.
4.Human interface with device: Screens and keyboards trend to be sma
-ll, which makes hard to use.
