What is Mc Kinsey’s 7 S Framework ?
 Strategy: The way the organization plans to build
and maintain a competitive advantage.
 Structure: The details of the organizational
structure of the company (Departments, organization
chart, team structure, the flow of authority, etc.)
 Systems: The daily activities and procedures that
staff use to get the job done (IT /Software /ERP Etc).
 Shared Values: These are the core values of the
organization and reflect its general work ethic.
 Style: The style of leadership adopted.
 Staff: The number of employees and their general
capabilities and recruitment pattern.
 Skills: The actual skills and competencies of the
organization's employees.

Guidelines for Report Preparation
The Project report shall be prepared using a word processor viz. MS Word.
All the reports shall be printed in the A4 size 1” margin on all sides.
The number of pages: Maximum 30 pages.
The report shall be having a cover page indicating the Name of the university, month &
year of admission.
Font to be used:
Times New Roman
Heading – font size - 14
Body font size – 12
Spiral Binding to be done for hard copy
PDF of Soft copy to be submitted ( to be saved as : Student name _Reg No)

How to formulate Vision statement ??
In absence of a Vision/ Mission statement , the students
can help the organization by creating one , using the
following parameters:
• Vision Statement:
The Vision Statement focuses on the future; it is a
source of inspiration and motivation. Often it describes
not just the future of the organization but the future of
the industry or society in which the organization
hopes to effect change. When developing a vision
statement, it should be seen that the following
questions are answered:
• What do we want to do going forward?
• When do we want to do it?
• How do we want to do it?

How to formulate Mission statement ??
In absence of a Vision /Mission statement , the students
can help the organization by creating one , using the
following parameters:
• Mission Statement:
The mission statement guides the day-to-day operations
and decision-making of the organization. The mission
statement helps members of the organization get on
the same page on what they should do and how they
should do it. When developing a mission statement,
it should be seen that the following questions are
answered:
• What do we do today?
• For whom do we do it?
• What is the benefit?

Financial Statement Analysis
Based on the availability of Information , students can do any of the following under the Financial
Statement analysis:
• The student can collect & analyze the consolidated Profit/Loss account and/or Balance Sheet
and/or income & Expenditure account of any company for a period of 2 years .
• The financial analysis can be done using these ratios :
• Liquidity Ratio
• Profitability Ratio
• Solvency ratio
• Turnover ratio
• They can analyze the various sources of funds (Long term/short term)
• Analyze the auditors report
• Provide managerial insights into the financial performance of the company.
Note : In absence of a Financial Statements the student can prepare income and expenditure
account or make an annual cost analysis statement based on availability of data.
