2. Introduction
• Founded in 1999, Ekal Vidyalaya is a non-profit organization
committed to bringing educational opportunities and development
to rural areas in India. Since its establishment, the organization has
reached nearly 40,000 schools and more than one million students
across the country. Focusing on the country's core needs, the
program's mission includes four main humanitarian pillars:
functional literacy, healthcare education, development education,
and empowerment education.
As a non-profit organization, Ekal Vidyalaya relies on the generosity
and care of groups and individuals who want to contribute to
improving life and living conditions for the millions of underserved
people in India. Those who wish to participate may donate or
volunteer their time at program events held worldwide. Such
events are essential to helping Ekal Vidyalaya reach out and
accomplish its missions.

3. Ekal Vidyalaya
