When users use chargeable services, MCA collects payments from them. The fees to be charged for such services are determined by the type of service requested and the pricing laws in place. The user has the option of making a payment "Online" or "Offline."

For all FO-related payments, the NTRP (Bharatkosh) portal will be used as a
payment gateway.
3. NTRP (NON-TAX RECEIPT PORTAL)
The Non-Tax Receipt Portal (NTRP) is a project of the Office of the Controller General
of Accounts, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, which aims to provide one-
stop services for depositing any fees, fines, or other money into the government
account.
It brings together all of the Indian government's civil ministries and departments.
It seeks to give 24X7 electronic services to people at their doorstep via a web-based
portal to deposit money into government accounts utilising internet-based payment
technology.
It thus takes advantage of the government's e-Governance pledge to provide e-
efficient, e-effective, and e-excellent governance anywhere, at any time.
4. TWO TYPES OF PAYMENTS
ONLINE PAYMENT- Payments are made via the internet. Users can pay using their
credit card, debit card, UPI, or net banking.
OFFLINE PAYMENT- When you choose Offline Payment mode, you must deposit
money/fees in the bank according to the amount on the challan that is generated.
5. PROCESS OF ONLINE PAYMENT
Step 1. Payment can be done immediately after a successful Service Request
submission OR through the Application Dashboard.
6. Step 2. Once the payment procedure is started, the full details of the remittance will
be displayed. On this screen, as illustrated in the screenshot below, select "Make
Payment." You'll be taken to the "Payment Mode" page.
7. Step 3. On the Payment Mode Screen, select Online mode of payment and click the
"Submit" button, as indicated in the image below.
8. Step 4. You will be led to the NTRP/Bharatkosh website, which will display the
Depositor's information as well as the transaction's purpose. After you've double-
checked the information, click the "Confirm" button.
9. Step 5. You'll be taken to the Payment Gateway Screen after that. Please choose your
preferred method of online payment, fill in the relevant information, check the
"Terms & Conditions" box, and click the "Pay" button.
10. Step 6. To facilitate money transfer, please submit credit card/debit card/UPI/net
banking details based on the decision made in Step 5.
Step 7. Once the payment has been completed, you will be taken to the Payment
Status screen, which will display the payment status. You will also receive an email
and SMS acknowledgment of the same. Please try again after 4 hours if the payment
fails.
Step 8. Upon successful completion of payment, a receipt would be generated and
shown in a pop-up window. It is available for download for future use.
11. PROCESS OF OFFLINE PAYMENT
Step 1. Payment can be done immediately after a successful Service Request
submission OR through the Application Dashboard.
12. Step 2. Select Offline mode of payment on the Payment Mode Screen
13. Step 3. When you choose the offline payment option, a pop-up window will display
with information regarding the offline payment process. After reading the
information, click the "Proceed" button.
14. Step 4. Clicking on proceed would open 3 tabs in your browser window: -
a) My application
b) Payment Challan
c) NTRP Portal
By default, NTRP Portal tab would be in focus as shown in the screenshot below.
15. Step 5. If you are a registered NTRP user
a. Please provide your credentials and login by clicking on “Submit”.

16. If you are not a registered NTRP user,
a. For validation and subsequent challan preparation, please supply bank details
and IFSC code.
b. If the validation is successful, you will be redirected to the confirmation screen
(shown in figure 4). Apart from that, you'll be registered with NTRP and receive
an email from them with your login details. After payment, you'll need to use
these credentials to follow payment status and upload the UTR number against
the challan/Transaction Number.
17. Step 6. You will be led to the Payment confirmation screen after logging in, where
your (depositor) details and the reason for the payment will be displayed. To
download the challan, please click the "Confirm" button. Please keep the challan
safe. To complete the payment, you'll need the challan.

18. b. When you click "Confirm," you'll be taken to the final page, where you can
download the Challan. Please click on the "Download Depositor Slip" button as
shown in Figure 5 below to download the challan. An acknowledgement of Challan
generation will also be sent to your registered email address.
19. c. The transaction will be aborted if you click "Back," and you
will be redirected to the Payment Status screen, where you will
see the message "Transaction Failed." You must re-start the
transaction by going to Application History and selecting "Pay
Fees" from the relevant form.
20. Step 7. Once the payment has been completed, you will be
taken to the Payment Status screen, which will display the
payment status. You will also receive an email and SMS
acknowledgment of the same.
