  • 1. 6 in 10 UK organisations hope to harness the potential of 4G coverage. Technology in the workplace survey – December 2012, 200 interviews with UK IT decision makers in private sector organisations with more than 500 employees. Interviews with 200 IT decision-makers from organisations with more than 500 employees, across a range of commercial sectors in the UK. ARE UK BUSINESSES LOOKING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF 4G COVERAGE? 60% Enterprise organisations are more likely to be looking to take advantage of 4G coverage than medium-sized organisations. This suggests they are more likely to have the infrastructure and resources available to do so. Finance organisations are the most interested in taking advantage of 4G coverage with almost 2/3 planning to do so. The majority of organisations believe 4G coverage will allow them to increase their: Speed of Delivery Customer CommunicationsRevenue streams Medium-sized organisations (those with 500-1,000 employees) Enterprise organisations (those with more than 1,000 employees) 4G 4G Medium-sized organisations are more likely to foresee benefits for their employees, whilst enterprise organisations are most likely to believe that 4G will deliver benefits for their customers.
