What We Learned Financial benefits are dependent on resource utilization patterns. Data transfer to the cloud is the biggest challenge but can effectively be addressed with file transfer acceleration software. Some software limitations exist (most notably Mac OS support) EBS snapshots can be used to store very large files (up to 1TB). Data stored on snapshots can be processed while being restored from S3 Demonstrated ability to ingest to Linux and transcode on Windows.
