successful communities. From the 2015 visit to the “Home of the First US Gigabit” – Chattanooga, Tennessee,
trip participants will:
• Learn from Chattanooga’s experiences in economic transformation, poverty, healthy living, gigabit internet,
entrepreneurship, attracting, engaging and retaining young professionals, as well as the importance of
diversity and inclusion to enhance our community and drive innovation.
• Build relationships among participants that help us successfully address our local challenges and opportunities.
• Better understand our community’s assets.
