1. New Professional Networking
Service: Relationship Science
RelSci was founded by Neil Goldman
and is backed by Wall Street pioneers
like Henry Kravis and Kenneth
Langone.
2. What is Relationship Science?
• Relationship Science is a startup founded by Neal
Goldman of Capital IQ, RelSci is based out of New York
and is backed by Wall Street pioneers like Henry Kravis
and Kenneth Langone.
• It has over $60 million in funds from investors and over
500 employees to date.
• RelSci is a service that will help connect influential people
in business, finance, as well as nonprofit organizations.
• The great thing: it won‟t require the user to input any kind
of information except for names.
3. What Will it Do?
• RelSci claims that it will search the internet and map out
key relationships between the people to help them
connect, make deals, sell products, raise money, and
more.
• It is expected to give the user the names of their spouses
and children, associates, their charity work, political
donations, and more.
• “I always thought there had to be an easier way to identify
and connect with the people and organizations I needed
to reach to achieve my goals,” founder Neal Goldman
said. “So I decided to create RelSci to fill that need.
4. How it Works
• RelSci will profile two million of the biggest dealmakers,
brokers, and executives in the world.
• Say you wanted to get in touch with Henry Kravis but
didn‟t know how—you would jus type his name into the
program and it would scan for any people that knew the
both of you. If no one can be found, it would then search
for secondary connections that would allow the person to
see who they needed to get in touch with in order to
contact to Mr. Kravis.
• When you search for connections, they will be ranked as
well. This way, if you have 3 connections in common with
Mr. Kravis, you can contact the strongest one first.
5. Continued
• “My life is all about networking,” said Kenneth Langone,
one of its big backers. “How many times do I say, „How do
I get to this guy?‟ It is scary how much it helps.” Langone
was so excited about the system that he not only invested
in it, but he also joined the board.
• The system will be $3,000 a year for a person to use this
tool.
• It it expected to save many people valuable time and help
create relationships that normally wouldn‟t have
happened.
• A release date for the software has not been set yet, but it
is expected to be out relatively soon.
