3. Announcements The new forums: Make sure you signed up (under the Forums Jr. tab). Week 8’s forums will appear there Make sure you are working on project 2. It’s not due until November 12th, but if you wait until the last minute, you will be sorry. I need to stress this again: Make sure you are reading everything I’m sending out. I received many, many questions this week that had been explained already.

4. Also You should have the resources for major project 3 together by now, or you should have a plan to get them. If you’re having trouble with that, let me know ASAP.

5. Listen to the man Make sure to watch the video I posted. It should answer some questions about upcoming assignments. If you have questions afterward, email me or IM so we can clarify things.

6. Read Your reading this week is a definition of remix and a start to a discussion about remix culture. Read it carefully. You will be doing two forum posts that are related to it.

7. Forum 1 Week 8: Remix Forum: Post a paragraph response to the Remix reading.

8. Forum 2 Week 8: Remix In Your Own Words: Based on how you have seen the term used, please post your own thoughtful, careful definition of Remix. Please put serious thought into this. I’m going to make a combined definition of remix from what all of you post.

9. Forum 3 Week 8: Middle: In this forum, post the following: 1. The one thing you feel you MUST learn in the second half of the semester and 2. The one thing you’d like to do that you don’t know for sure we will do. Try to be realistic, though you don’t have to be. I will take all realistic thoughts here into consideration as we move forward.

10. And Tumblrs Just your usual 3 Tumblr posts. Your top 5 list for this week: 5 Movies of TV shows from the past (meaning not active now) that you’d like to see make a comeback and why.
