 Strength: the quality or state of being
strong.
 Stiffness: Stiffness is the rigidity of an
object

9. Testing a Foam Composite for Strength
and Stiffness
We brought 4 foams, the first one plain foam. The
second one have paper on one side, the third one
have paper on both sides, the last one have paper
on the two sides with a disjoint. Then we measured
them with a roler and we tried to break them.

 We brought 4 straws and taped each
two together. We raped one of them
with silk wire and the other one with
fishing wire.
